The Ds is a fantastic hand held unit and is far superior to its rival the PSP. The duel screen is used across the bourd in most games although some games do make it into a bit of a gimmick although the actual DS cannot be blamed for this but the game companies can. In terms of durability the DS is brilliant my friends and I all have a DS and one friend drops his all the time and it all works fine. The DS is a very sleek and minimalist looking unit which not only looks brilliant when your out but also when its just sat there on the side.
This is the best hand held currently on the market, with an excellent build quality and some fantastic games. Its all you need with you when your bourd on the train or just want to fill some time in, oh yeh and also to play in class ; ) .

i abbsolutly love my nintendo DS because unlike the other games consoles such as PSP there are some really good games for it. The really big problem is if your stylus goes out of focus you can't play many of the games on offer and if you for some reason accidentally drop your DS and do not have a recipt anymore then like mine the top of your screen will have yellow lines that are impossible to get rid of but if non of this happens then its really good but the most delicate console that i've ever used.
I have owned nearly all of the Nintendo consoles. But the DS is by far superior to its predisesors.
The dual screen allows a unique game play and the stylus also makes the games more interactive.
the age range has no bounds for this console, anyone from the age of 3 to 75 or up can play this. there is a huge variety of games and accessories that allow you to presonalise this console.
i love this console soo much !!
I have had a DS Lite for the past few years and on a number of occasions it has been hit by my sister. You wouldn't even know to look at. A few people I know from the internet have had similar stories including one where they dropped their DS down the toilet. Some are still chugging along after more than 5 incidents.
In reply to Lulubear5s review, the DS is a great console, it is delicate if you drop it, but if your stylus goes out of focus then you simply re-calibrate the touch screen by entering the settings from the homepage.
