Crash Bandicoot is taking control of the biggest, baddest mutants around. He's using their powers to make himself stronger than ever. Look out evil. Here comes Crash!

Game features:

  • Mutant in your Pocket - Not only does Crash keep the ability to control his enemies when he jacks them, now he can store his favourite monsters in his pocket, upgrade them and use their powers when they are most needed.
  • "Free-Romping" World Design - Wumpa Island is fully realized as a real location with a "free-romping" design that allows players to travel and explore through intersecting worlds, with different gameplay options available depending on what creature you've brought along for the ride.
  • Girl Power! - Your co-op partner is Crash's sister, Coco, playable for the first time in the cooperative mode. Not only does Coco make the game that much more inviting for girls to pick up and play, she also brings with her a new tactile "treasure hunt" ability.
  • New abilities:

    • Roll and Counter Combat System - Crash has a fun, agile dodge move and a countermove that inflicts extra damage on his enemies.
    • Digging - Crash can now dig underground as real-life bandicoots do, enabling players to unlock bonus items.
    • Climbing - Crash climbs vertical surfaces and jumps side to side to dodge hazards.

     Great game

I think this game is good because its quite frustrating in parts and thats the whole point of a game as you wouldnt want to complete it in a day! The minigames are easy but they are quite fun so. Overall i would recommend it.

The Crash Bandicoot series has died

Why are the new crash bandicoot games soo bad? Maybe its because the company that made the brilliant crash 1, 2, 3 and wrath of cortex games have gone? Likewise with the Spyro series.

Anyway nevertheless this game is shocking. Its not worth reviewing really so I'm going to leave it at that.

     crash...and burn

The only thing entertaining about this game, is the mini games section, but even that isn't brilliant with only 3 games to choose from that aren't particularly challenging.
The 'adventure' section, ie the main game, is very boring, the levels look the same, and they play the same, jump a few times, grab a few 'mojo' balls, fight little creatures and ride a mutant. Enter new level and repeat.
The controls are stiff and slow, making the game play frustrating as well as boring, and the levels don't challenge you for awhile.
Another feature i was annoyed with was the mutant part, you can only keep one mutant at a time, i was hoping you could build a collection, but this is not the case.
overall i'd say this game might be fun for small children, but id stick with Mario, or maybe even check out Chocobo Tales.

     not good at all!!
