Considering the obvious graphics limitations of a ds , mph is probably the best fps ive played to date on this format, the use of the stylus for targeting plus overall manouverability make this a very absorbing game, the best way to get the most out of mph is without doubt the multiplayer mode , i ,ve played wifi (not worldwide) with 3 other players and it can be gripping game play.great graphics, great setup!, a must have for shoot em up fans!

  3 Stars is enough.

There are a lot more better shooters out there, and having a shooter on the DS sounds cool and new but its not all that good. This game lacks a lot of content, the bosses aren't so good I find and like in a few other reviews, this game is very repetitive.

The graphics are great for the DS, but that's the best part I would say. The gameplay is annoying with the stylus because you push it harder and harder into the screen as you play, especially in the boss fights and so your hands start to hurt. It isn't fully adapted for the DS, and if your looking for a shooter, go with PC, 360 or PSP.

The hand held shooters don't seem worth it to me because you can get a lot better at a cheaper price, if the DS is the only console you have and you don't have a computer, then you can't be reading this, but if you ARE reading this then I say stick with your comp. for shooters.

Overall, i didn't particularly enjoy this game. I felt that the gameplay was fairly repetitive and because of this I didn't find the game very rewarding. I wasn't impressed by the music or graphics and there wasn't really anything that made me want to play the game. One thing that I did enjoy was the multiplayer mode. I played with friends and online and found both modes fun. One thing in particular that I liked about it was the variety of levels that I could play on. If you are looking for a doom-ish shooter then it could be the game for you but I didn't enjoy it.

  What a disappointment.

A real shame this one. Would have been good except for the terrible puzzzles, dodgy lighting (you can't see where you're going half the time) and annoying bosses. Like i said, real shame and please whatever you do don't take the plunge.

The 3D graphics on Metriod Prime: Hunters are very good and the gameplay even better. I found this to be hardest game I own so far on the DS so be warned. The music in this game creates a great atmosphere as you go hunting for alien life forms. Using the DS pen when you turn yourself into a ball dropping bombs is great fun. Another great DS game made by Nintendo

  The Imperialist

This is a good game for the DS, the graphics are excellent in DS terms and a classic Metroid adventure from the 2D games transfered into 3D is quite exciting.
The best part of this game is the multiplayer which is worth buying the game for. With Wi-Fi you can just spin around in morph ball mode but the best is owning download play Samus with the Imperialist.

This is the best game on the Nintendo DS, for sure.

For a handheld the graphics are equal to that of a Playstation. The full 3D levels, characters and interfaces are insane. I love this game and you will never be bored.

When you are not playing the main story game you can play tons of minigame battles.

You have 24 levels, 6 modes, 6 completely different characters and abilites and tons of weaponry. This is a great buy, and the Wireless and Wi-Fi features are brilliant.

The game runs smoothly but occasionally slows down if there are alot of explosions or movement on the screen at once...but this only ever occurs in multi-payer modes when there are more than two players at once and alot of action going on.

Highly recommend!

Certainly a good game, but starts to get a bit repetitive towards the end. A wide variation in weapons and scenery. Quite hard at some places, boss's can just just out of the air at you which can/will catch you off-guard.

So, good game, and if you for some random reason don't have it yet, get it!
