Ive had this game for a while now and i still play it all the time, playing stages one at time or playing in an 8 player game, this game is a must buy for bomberman lovers.

Not as good as past Bombermans

Bomberman is a great classic game and one that will keep you hooked for hours. However i feel those of you who have played the original bomberman will be dissapointed with the as i feel the newer versions are not a good and exciting. If you played the original, don't play this.

  Its bomberman.

Bomberman is an all time classic, now you can take it anywhere you want!
can get a bit repetative after a while, hence only 4 stars.

I got this game for my daughter but now we both fight who gets on it first! It is very addictive and we both have hours of fun playing it.

As an official of Bomberman, I happened to have played the SEGA version of this sell-out game, I found that brilliant, excellent 2D graphics, excellent gameplay and perfect story missions and fun with 3 friends aswell. This game is much much further developed than that. Bomberman DS has more levels or areas than before, it has an improved item system, although i miss the kangaroo things that you could ride around with speed or agilty etc. they have them in items now and much more too. And then there's the multi-play, it's fantastic, it's wireless, it's portable and there's no need for you all to have a game card either. Good for parties, for friend visits and good for playing alone. What a game this is. Buy, you must.

I had this game when i was younger for the playstation and when i saw it for £9.99 on here for the DS i bought it without hesitation. Bomberman is way better on the DS and me and my younger sister play it all the time, providing hours of fun for us both

Great game for a great price

Bomberman gets the DS treatment and doesn't disappoint. Whether you're playing the Puzzle mode or battle there is enough to keep you occupied.

Puzzle - in this mode there are 100 levels to master, but what makes it such a good game is the fact you can control how many bombs you lay or how big a blast your bomb gets, buy storing pickups you can choose what you want when you want it. This adds a bit of tactics to the game but you are such to blow yourself up accidentally once or twice (and the rest).

Battle - this is the classic mode that pits you with up to 7 other opponents, whether they be friends via the wi-fi link or against the computer. With some 20 plus battlefields to choice form and some unique powerups, this is as much of a challenge as the puzzle mode.

  For that price its great

£9.99 is an excellent price for a ds game. Although the single player for this game is fairly boring and repetitive it is brought up for me to a 4 star of its amazing multiplayer with lots of maps and different game types with up to 8 people who even don't need to own the game. A fair Buy.

  I can't believe these reviews

Bomberman for DS is a huge step backwards from Super Bomberman 2 onwards, and anyone who's played earlier Bomberman games will be able to tell you that. The core gameplay is here, so it's still a laugh... but only in 2-player. The single player game is horrible - every stage is exactly the same, unlike the SNES games where different areas featured different puzzles, traps, items and bosses. The music, unlike the older games, absolutely sucks, the soundtrack consisting of short loops of forgettable yet grating rubbish with no variety. The visuals have gone horribly childish too.

The game is cheap for a reason. Fair enough, it still plays like a Bomberman game should, and if you have enough friends with the game then you might have a laugh but this has to be one of the worst games in the Bomberman series
