     A little disappointing...

If you've played Puzzler's puzzles online via their website like myself, you'd have high expections for the DS version, but sadly I feel they have missed out on producing a product of the same quality.

What's right with it? The games themselves are fine and easily as addictive as playing online via their website. The levels are good and you can make it as challenging as you like by setting yourself a fixed time period to play for and trying to beat your previous score.

What's wrong with it? For me it was purely the graphics and a few little bugs that let this game down. As someone else has already pointed out, at times it is unresponsive to where you're clicking, so you have to tap it several times. This is particularly annoying when trying to do Wordsearches, or when trying to confirm your answer when doing Crosswords.

My main gripe however is with the Sudoku puzzles. Whoever thought grey numbers on a grey background was a good idea? If you're playing it outside in natural light it makes it very difficult to read. More annoying though is the way the pencil numbers don't align to the grid properly and overlap the edges, which means you can't easily distinguish between 6's, 8's and 9's.

Overall it's a good buy, but if you're expecting the same level of quality as you get from the puzzles on their website you'll be slightly disappointed.

     Not too bad

I found this game really addictive the first few times I played it, however now when I pick it up I find it hard to chose what to play, purely because of the lack of variety.
Would have been good if it had a few more games to play.

I often buy the Puzzler publication, and like it because of its wide variety of puzzles. With this in mind, I was very disappointed with the DS release. I found it very limited with only four kinds of puzzle games, and even these soon got a bit dull.

There are, apparently, over 2000 individual puzzles to choose from, but it would be good if you could at least choose a category (i.e. films, nature, etc.) for your selected puzzle - unless I missed something, there is no way of doing this.

I am a little bemused that this title seems to be so popular - I love a good puzzle, but it's hardly got the variety of, say, the excellent '42 All-Time Classics' or the 'TouchMaster' series.
This title might just about scrape by if you pick it up for a truly bargain basement price, but there are far better puzzle games available on the DS.

     Very disappointed

I'm not too keen on this game, not as good as I expected it to be. The main problem is with the graphics, especially on the sudoku. When you zoom out of the screen all of the numbers overlap the lines so you can't see what they are. The colours also don't help.

     Puzzler Collection '1000's of Puzzles'

I brought this the other day and I am already bored of it. It claims there are thousands of puzzles which I assumed meant 1000's of different games but it only has crosswords, fitwords, wordsearches and Sudoko. I wouldn't recommend this game, its not worth the money because like me you will probably only play it once or twice and then get bored!
