Both me and my mom love this game. Its one of the best games I have ever had! The music and graphics are great and it is very hard to put down when you have started because there is so much you can and need to do on the game.
I only found out about this game while browsing on Play.com and I would recommend this game to anybody. So all I can say is BUY IT!! BUY IT NOW!!!!!

Viva Pinata is a game about gardening, sounds thrilling doesn't it? Well infact it is. It's up to you to garden your way to the perfect enviroment for all of your Pinata to live in whilst attracting more to the fold. This can be a tricky task at times, like all "management" games it can be a real juggling act keeping everything ticking over nicely. Fortunately the DS stylus makes controlling this game an absolute treat, much easier than the XBox version and for those who have played the original they will find much improvement here when trying to do everything at once! A quick mention must go to the sound and graphics, both of which are excellent by DS standards.

The only problem I can see is the appeal of the game, it's a little too tricky for younger kids and I don't know if the adult appeal will be all that strong, however, for those who want something different and fun then Pocket Paradise is a superb purchase and much better than Gardner's World.

What can be said for this game? Well, actually, quite a lot. Withstanding the transfer from 360 to DS, and making the controls, let's face it, a heck of a lot easier to control when moving about your garden. A beautiful little pick up and play game that's for anyone and everyone. Deals with collecting the different Pinata species, caring and breeding them to earn certificates and leveling up, and generally becoming a Pinata whizz-king. Sounds hare-brained, but it really works. Full house score, and with plenty of reasons. At the price it's going, I'm surprised you even have to read reviews on it first!

  Great game.

I enjoyed this on my DS more than x box, as I find it easier to control with the stylus.Buy this game it is well worth the money and you will be playing it for hours.

I was a little nervous about Viva Pinata coming out on the DS as the Xbox version is soooo good, needless to say I wasn't let down at all by this version, its as good if not better than the X box version with your usual fave pinatas, my fave is the Jelli (mainly as it is sooo difficult to get!) I had to play the game twice as the Jelli didnt appear on my first game, but even still its addictive for adults and children alike.. I am 32 and my niece 11 but both of us have lost entire days on this game!! Well worth a play if you like the Sims and suchlike!!!

Like the other reviewers I was up till past midnight trying to attract certain piñatas to my garden. They just tease you by walking around your garden but only enter when you have met their criteria. Definitely one to add to your collection.

Slow to start, but once you get going it's much better and you must keep looking at the episodes, they will help with the garden. My favourite place is the playground, because you don't have to pay for things for your garden.
