Retaining the same award-winning gameplay, unique sense of humour and clever mix of action and strategy that has epitomized the brand for almost a decade, Worms is the ideal quality gaming experience whilst on the move and is perfectly placed to make its debut on the Nintendo DS.
The processing power of the new handheld means Worms contains the best of aspects of all previous Worms games whilst at the same time offering the best Worms AI and most balanced weapons system to date.
Plus with the introduction of a whole raft of unique features and laugh-out-loud comedy, Worms engages the player with streamlined gameplay especially suited to the smaller screen and shorter play time of a handheld device.
  • Fight it out in all new Single-Card Play for up to 4 players. Alternatively use hot seat mode and take on your friends using just one console
  • Challenge fiendish AI worms in single-player mode
  • Choose from a huge arsenal of your favourite worms weapons
  • 6 all-new crazy landscapes to randomly generate as you wish, from Jungle to Outer Space

This game is probably the most addictive game i have ever played on DS. Yeah the graphics are pretty poor, but i have to admit that you can never get bored of the game itself! Classic

 Another great worms title

If ever there was a game suited to the DS then this is it. This takes the classic pc game to a whole new level, with the split screen being the perfect vehicle for intense game play. The graphics also look brilliant on screen and you'd believe your playing this on a proper PC. The stylus yet again gives excellent control and is perfectly used to select weapons, whilst the d pad is used to move your worm.

The brilliant thing about Worms is it is instantly playable, which lends itself well to a hand held console which can be played on the move. You can set the time for each match so if you only have 8 minutes, then that is how long it will last for.

There is also a huge amount of game play on offer with thousands of randomly generated landscape at the DS's disposal. This not only adds longevity, as it ensures each game is different, but also more of a challenge.

As usual the weapons on offer are both hilarious and highly destructive and the new additions are welcome. Few games still manage to keep fresh after so many different versions but worms seems to get better with age.

Probably the best version of Worms yet and more suited to the DS than the PSP.

 Half decent worms

This installment of worms is pretty good, although it doesn't keep you hooked for ages

i suppose replaying it is fun but unlike worms 4 there arent many 'missions' and t really doesn't last very long

Same old formula, still fun but flawed

If you've played worms before and know you love it you should be able to overlook the games flaws - AI take to long to attack, graphical glitches(these dont affect gameplay) and the same old formula. If you havent played worms or are getting tired of it wait for open warfare 2 with its wi-fi and hopefully massive improvements
