Think another port of this game to a different console is pointless? Think again. The biggest difference is the addition of extra storyline which almost 'ties up loose ends' compared to the original Broken Sword which was released 13 years ago. A combination of murder mystery, fastasy and history make this game's truly awesome storyline. Combined with the DS's mobility and touch controls, Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars - Director's Cut is definetely a game worth buying.

     A Superb game

I have loved the point and click genre of games ever since I played the Monkey Island games on the PC as a kid, I unfortunately never played the original Broken Sword game which is a shame and if this game is anything to go by I missed out.
The Stylus works brilliantly in this game the easy to use control system means you can concentrate on the fun bits like solving the puzzles.
The storylines are good and draw you in nicely and the presentation and graphics are good throughout, the sound is okay but nothing special but this does not detract form the gameplay at all as the sounds do the job well enough.
All in all this game is really enjoyable and good value for money, I have been playing it for hours and have not even scratched the surface so there is lots of gameplay to come, buy it!!.

This game is right up my street and kept me engrossed for hours on end. In fact, one night I picked it up at 10.30 pm and was still playing it at 5.00 am! Lucky for me I had no work next day! I really wish they would make more of this genre. I love trying to solve clues and work out as to what to do next or where to find information. The storyline was also very captivating. Highly recommended!

I loved this game. At first I thought that I had missed loads of the story out becuase of the decisions I made but once I got the hang of it I was hooked. I have actually started the game again and going to see if making different decisions changes the game from the first time round.

I played this back on the PS1 and now playing on the DSLite. Its easy to get to grips with and the graphics are spot on. A must buy for all adventure fans new and old. All I want now is BS II and Monkey Island I & II and i will be a happy bunny.
