This game was made for the DS. I have it on the PSP but that is nothing compared to this. Pull back your slingshot using the stylus, aim and fire- totally addictive and brilliant ! Minute adjustments can be made to the direction of the shot which makes for very skillful playing.
The only downside is that the code for the hidden level(s) flashes up quickly and is too long to be remembered- no pen and paper handy no hidden levels :(
I'd say if you like Tetris you'll love this! Go on buy it, you know you want to !
Of all the Bust a Move games that have been made, this is one of the best. Only Bust a Move 2 comes close to the brilliant bubble popping action is this game. The reason it is so good is that it lends itself perfectly to the DS stylus control and makes shooting bubbles a more skilled and more enjoyable game. It is also one of the best and most additive games on the DS.
Puzzle - With this mode you get a massive 250 levels (set in groups of 10 within 5 levels for each of the 5 lands). However once you've completed one of the last 5 groups of levels on the last land you get the code to release a further 250 levels increasing the total to 500 levels. This makes it the biggest Bust a Move game yet and in terms of longevity it will keep you going for months.
Endless - With this mode you can select the number of different colour bubbles you want to play with, what bubble types are available and whether to have the chain mode on. This is an excellent feature that will have you playing time and time again to beat those high scores, a brilliant addition to the series.
VS - There are two options to this, either playing with the computer or against a human opponent. Playing against the computer isn't very good to honest as I've won every time I've played against it, even against four other characters. This is the only aspect of the game that doesn't thrill. When playing this against human opponents though the game gets really exiting and is well worth it.
Ive always loved bust a move from a kid when i seen it out for the ds i had to get it. So simple to play just use the stylus to pull this catapult back and it fires the ball. My kids love this game as much as i do, i often connect with my 6yr old daughter on her ds and we play against each other i think theres more fun this way. Well worth the money
I always remember playing Bust A Move in the arcades in Skegness when I went on holiday, spending a fortune at a time on them!
When I saw this on the DS, I just had to buy it and I am so not disappointed.
The only thing about the game I don't like is the fact that, as a left handed player, I can't use the stylus in game-play as effectively, so I have to use the arrow keys.
Still, it plays awesomely and has a great, retro feel to it. Well fun!
this is the simplest game I`ve ever played I did`nt even need to look at the instructions. It was simple but still gets challenging, and it`s bright and colourfull and you only need to use the stylis for this game. great for children and adults aswell.
