The original PS1 version was brilliant at it's time. Yeah they were moments of cheesiest from the VO/Voice acting but everything else was just great. The puzzles in the game were tricky but good at the same time and yeah overall it was very good. IMO the GC remake was better but it's still won't be as ace as RE 4 which is one of the best games of all time. Still a great game that shouldn't be missed.

This is one of the 1st games I ever bought as the gamecube was my first console and it was the best game to buy! It scared me rigid from the start and took me a very, very long time to complete as I only went on it for about an hour every few days when I had the nerve as unless you know the mansion in the game inside out your certainly in for some serious suprises!The graphics are very impressive and the storyline has a very beleiveable and fascinating plot you'll never fully understand unless you play every game in the franchise,well worth the money and was the first game to introduce me to survival horror theres no turning back,buy it!
