Being the owner of Fifa 05 i read the reviews for this game and bought a copy on the strength of those comments.I have to disagree with them, i think this version is very poor the graphics are not as good as 05, and while it might have some good features why oh way do they have to tamper with things.The little pitch at the bottom of the screen while your playing is very off putting, its like watching a load of bees buzzing around.Also when the match is under way the graphics seem to wobble.If your thinking of buying this game don't, you will be sorry, i was.

Being the proud owner of a Nintendo Wii, a huge football fan and a fan of the FIFA series (only time I ever get to see WHU achieve something!) I rented this year's instalment (08) for my Wii and while I had a lot of fun with it the lack of a career mode takes alot away from the game. Afterwards I went through my Gamecube collection and pulled out this beauty - much better. If you have a Wii I seriously recommed that you buy this game and not 08, as you'll still be enjoying 07's career mode long after the novelty of 08's control setup has worn off.

Fifa on the old consoles just kept improving, and except for the wii version of fifa 08 it seems like they keep improving.

this is a great game for a console that is about to die. gameplay is pretty much unrivaled for its release time, and i think its better then pro evo.

graphics are great on the gamecube and wont look out of place if you decided to get this to play on your wii instead.

really very good game with indepth career mode, must have for football fans really 5 stars
