This works absolutely perfectly - there's no lag or delay - absolutely nothing that is detremental to the gaming experience.
You plug the receiver into the GameCube/Wii, set the channel on the controller to match the receiver's, and away you play.
It doesn't have a rumble option, so as not to wear out the batteries too quickly. It takes two AA batteries and they last for up to 100 hours.
Glad to see Play are selling them again, as Nintendo is rumoured to have ceased production of them, so get it while you can, get some GameCube games and enjoy yourself!

i dont have a gamecube, i have a wii and i bought 2 of these so i could play the classic games i downloaded. i'm really not bothered about lack of rumble. As soon as i got these mario kart 64 was on most of the day! what a blast. the controllers are very very comfortable to hold and the wireless fits in with the way a wii should be played.
If you have a wii, get a wavebird, simple.
PAL: Will play on UK and European GameCube only | |
