Ikaruga is a game that frustrates almost as much as it rewards. Negative points first, the playing are does not cover the whole TV screen, you are left with two large black spaces to the left and right of the playing area. The other problem is the difficulty, the tutorial level is (as you would expect) easy enough, but after that it is a relentless shooter.
On the plus side it has great graphics for a 2D shooter. It also puts a new twist on the genre by enableing your ship to change colour from black to white, the point of this is that as you are being shot at all of your enemies firepower is also black and white and depending on your colour you either take damage or absorb its power.
On the whole a Fantastic but very hard game.
If all you are after is life like graphics dont bother playing this,if you want the best game to ever exist in the world BUY THIS NOW i paid alot of money for mine but it is worth it as its the hardest game i have ever played in 30 years of playing video games but well the effert of playing the best game ever forget 360,ps3 etc this is the game to play.
