The biggest selling game EVER on the PS2 is coming to the PC and this version will have enhanced features including improved graphics and sound, additional PC controls, as well as several options for players to customize the game.

From the decade of big hair, excess and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile as Grand Theft Auto returns to the PC. Vice City is a huge urban sprawl ranging from the beach to the swamps and the glitz to the ghetto, and is the most varied, complete and alive digital city ever created. Combining non-linear gameplay with a character driven narrative, you arrive in a town brimming with delights and degradation and are given the opportunity to take it over as you choose.
  • Suitable for 18 years and over. Not for sale to persons under age 18. By purchasing this product, you declare that you are 18 years of age and over.
  • Improved graphics and sound
  • Additional PC controls
  • New options to customize the game

The best GTA title you can buy

| | See all Quicksilver11's reviews (29)

I thought it would be hard to beat GTA3, but the guys at Rockstar did a fantastic job. The storyline borrows heavily from the film Scarface, but of course with the GTA twist put on things. The side missions, such as owning your own businesses, add so much replay value to the game. The controls are easy to use, the graphics are pretty good for a game of its age, and the bikes are endlessly fun. In my opinion this is the best GTA title to date, far better than GTA: San Andreas.

 not compatable with vista

It is undoubted this is a great game, and for the price noone can argue but i was a bit dissapointed when i recieved the game when i found out it is not compatable with my new pc's O.S. (windows vista) so a great game but dont buy if you also have vista as the game will not install.

 Can't BEAT the price!!!!

Brilliant game, not as good as san andreas but story is just as good and is set in 1980's which has a nice feel to the game.

good for money bad for gaming

The game goes far beyond any of you have said because as a matter of fact you an modify ths game..

Insert new cars etc.

but the game itsef is extremely poor graphics and was good for 2003 but we have moved on now to GTA san andreas.

so this is brilliant for money but not the best of games to buy

you may want to think about buying any GTA'S because the big one is almost here GTA 4 set for an october release date.

 A good old 80's GTA-fest

| | See all Reggiep75's reviews (7)

I remember seeing this a long time ago when a friend had it.. I wasn't really interested in the game at the time but was more interested in the pure quality 80's music-fest, an often overlooked diamond of this game. I bought it a while back to enjoy bombing around on a scooter delivering pizzas while listening to 'Crockett's Theme' only to find my sweet fast XP machine refused to run it without a few problems.. I managed to get thru a few missions but the issues of it running overshadowed my enjoyment... So if ur running a new machine, be aware there may be a few problems with it running, It appears to run fine on Pentium 4 and lower machines without problems but if running a dual-core or quad-core machine, run the game on a single core... Info on this can be found thru a search engine... I had probs with GTA: San Andreas but not as many as Vice City.. Still a good game tho
