 Great game but not infinite

This is an excellent game with some good graphics. There is good longevity in the game due to the upgrade system employed for the space ship.

The main storyline can be a bit linear, however you can take a proverbial indefinite break from the storyline to adventure around as you require, if fact this is advisable to earn cash to purchase upgrades to the ships weapons and ancillaries.

The space battles and combat system are easy to get to grips and make combat playable and interesting.

I would recommend patching the game immediately after installing as there are a couple of issues later in the game which can cause headaches as it occasionally crashes.

Overall this an excellent game with plenty to keep you interested for a while just getting to the next upgrade. Well worth a look if you are interested in space faring games.

The lack of replayability (once you've upgraded the ship there's no urge to do it all from scratch again) and the occasional crash are the only thing that prevented this game getting 5 stars.

 Good but not so much

Pros:

* The game story is alright
* Evolving your ship makes you want to go further
* The game can be entertaining untill the end.
* No remarkable bugs, good design.
* Good graphics.

Cons:
* The game is not very open, and once you fininsh the quest you will abandon it.
* Once you past the first solar system, the rest are more or less the same thing over and over, so although there are dozens of systems you can visit, they are all the same with different colors.

Overall: It deserves 3 stars for me because it is a space game and works well with joystick. But I would have rated 2 because aside from the quest and the evolving of the ship, there is hardly any efford in making the game interesting.

Considering its price now, it is a good buy if you love space games like I do.
