My copy of Guitar Hero 3 arrived today. Plays great on my original Intel Core Duo iMac even though specs say it needs the Core 2 Duo. Also plays perfectly on my new Macbook Pro as I would of expected. Game is addictive, so promptly spent rest of the afternoon and evening playing it after it arrived. If you have a Intel Mac with a real graphics chip (so not Mac Mini, Macbook, or Macbook Air). Then this game is a must, even if you think its not going to be your thing.

The game of the year...on a mac!

I'm playing this through a mac pro on a Sony Bravia TV and it works brilliantly...The graphics are stunning!
    Some points...
    1. This comes with a wired guitar (with a xbox logo on it) ironic to have a microsoft brand on a mac product. Also it's a bit harsh to pay the same when Wii and 360 versions are wireless.
    2. This will only play on a intel iMac and mac pro. Not a macbook.

Guitar Hero = Amazing, But on the mac......

The game is awsome i have played it on a friends consol before and was so much fun i bought it for the mac. I find that it runs jumpy occasionally on my mac, despite running on a machine that is better than minimum requirements and having the graphics as low as they go. If you have played this game before you will know that if it is jumpy it makes it a painstakingly funless game.
Running on a 2.2 GHZ Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro, 2GB 667MHZ RAM. I had all programs shut down and the internet cut. But still got a few jumps. Such a shame.
Still I will pursue as there is still some fun to be had.
