Ok , i will say this is the best showcase of graphics in a game ive played which in itself makes the game more fun to play as if this game had bland graphics and textures and no effects it would be a horrible game, but because of these its an amazing experience to admire the beauty and destruction such as destroyable buildings (only hut kind of buildings) and destroyable trees werever you shoot at them, bendable grass and leaves. Ive been playing this game since it came out and i can say becouse of the modding community the maps people make etc make the experience 10x longer and more fun, but the single player game is still a fun and intresting story.

8800Gtx oc
300Gb hardrive high speed.

But if i set everything to high, it will be playable throughtout anything, with no noticable difference in terms of looks, but take note im playing on dx10 which will slow my game even more so take note.

One last thing i will say is if you like crysis get crysis warhead as its more optimised better overall gameplay inhansments and more lively story and more action compared with crysis.

Not to brag but i gota new pc and lets just say it runs crysis on ultra high no worries and i can honestly say i stopped and stared at my monitor for a round 5 mins and said the whole time wow! The graphics are jaw droopingly good which will make you say after when you look out window "meh the graphics out side aren't as good as crysis!, so if your pc can handle it get this for the graphics alone. Gameplay wise its fun not entirely realistic but fun none the less, you play as a typical american marine who absorbs bullets and takes out an army by him self cause americas great like that (laughs) but hey makes for a fun game. Cause america is at the top of the tech tree u have a super suit which allows the player to use a bunch of different abilities which adds to the game and give the play more options than to fight or to run and hide the physics is awesome to say the least and all in all the storyline isn't bad and the in typical cryteck fashion the island you end up on is huge and… more »
