The year is 1930. Through circumstances he couldn't have predicted, Tommy's life as a cabdriver was about to be exchanged for a life in the Mafia.
At first he works as a driver and everything couldn't be better. But as time goes on he is ordered to undertake more and more unpleasant jobs and he starts to become disillusioned with the life he has chosen...

This is an awesome game. The story to this is fantastic and the gameplay is solid as well. The graphics could have been better but it was decent enough. It had some gitches in it but not a lot so it's still a great game that shouldn't be missed.

A day in the life of a member of the mafia.I wont spoil the story but you end up being part of the family & the game is set out with missions simular to g.t.a franchise.The map & pin point of missions is set out on the bottom right of the screen built into a speedomiter.
car chases, shoot outs, boot legging, mafia style hits are all in the story.How the story of the game is told is fantasticly done.A brilliant piece of work with great set pieces.Beautiful graphics & i recommend you play this with a geforce fx nvidea card with a high processor mines an xp 2200 running at 1.80 mhz, with 1gb of memory.This will help run the game nice & smooth.
If you like the god father,road to perdition or even the goodfellas then this will be right up your street.Dont settle for an horses head grab a copy of this for your collection.

Several years after release this still plays well, looks decent, has excellent atmosphere and a compelling story. The gameplay is challenging without being unfair and has such nice touches as accurate weapon loading. On completion the game unlocks a set of challenges with custom cars as rewards. The free mod available on the internet City Of Lost Dreams extends gameplay. A sequel is due next year
