I like the free running fps but there is slight problems on the game but overall for the price its worth it

sold as a first person shooter,which it is not
uncomprehensable

the game is preety good . and the auto jumping and climbing and stuff is amazing . but guns are a bit .. mhm disgrased guns . a few mission in campaign and objectives are failing . but the customization and stuff are preety good. i noticed that when they updated on steam . ( when free weekend of brink was started at 5-8-2011) bugges and other annoying things went out exxept for a couple of lag then was lunched after update . just close all programs runnning and it will work fine . also i cant configure out why cant join my friend for co-op . ever thime , server not responding. well it mghit be good at asking you to help me at this question. 1 more thing. i started to play this game on the free weekend and i didnt stop playing it . i reaally forgot about black ops and others. iLOved it . if you buy it on steam it will cost a lot more . it is EuR44 and if you buy it on play it will cost you a lot less. a question of the people is : if i buy it on play.com will it be steam in game online ( Steam play) . yes it will . just install and automaticly added on steam .

Nice graphics, smooth gameplay. Adictive & fun. (Single player).
A nice change from the common shooters. Not too easy either.
Nice award system also.

If your bored with all the cookie cutter FPS shooters on the market right now then Brink is definitally worth a shot of. Fresh new ideas pulled off well in good enviroments. Multiplayer is objective based and forces team work which imo is a good thing. The graphics are amazing too and so smooth. To the person who said they were blurry.............Go into visual options and turn off motion blur........... DOH lol :)

The initial Idea is good free running FPS, but the execution failed the game itself is a little choppy and pretty buggy and this is coming from a guy running crossfire 5870's. Hopefully they will release some patches to fix the performance issues.

Another issue is the free running controls are pretty horrible it's mostly just mashing the space bar and the actual maps don't really use it that much. As for the campaign there really is no campaign it's just playing against bot's for single player or jumping online playing through the campaign missions also the bots are extremely dumbed down even on hard difficulty.

The multilayer can be fun and the whole concept behind customizing your character is pretty cool but eventually you notice they sort of start to look very similar. It's worth picking up if you can find it for 15 - 20 pounds and that's if you have nothing better to play at the time otherwise I'd stay away.

Ok so the hype killed this game a little bit, its not amazing by anymeans but its still a good game, dont expect call of duty style gameplay guns are underpowerd in this game so it takes more than normal to kill people (not a stupid amount just more).

The free running is smooth when using the smart button but the maps dont arnt made well and dont seem made with the free running in mind and the game modes...... well there arnt any every map has its unique objective simalar to killzone 3's operation maps so theres no TDM/CTF/Conquest/rush etc.

The big downside of this game is the fps issues but after two very quick patches from splash damage it is getting better, still not there but its on its way.

To sum it up this game is not a next gen shooter but it does do something different to stand out in the sea of fps games, worth checking out but dont have realy high hopes.

the concept is great free running FPS but it just falls down on too many points. the guns just dont feel right at all, the graphics are blurry and has bad textures, there is no real single player just an AI multiplayer with cutscenes and training levels and the AI its self is very flawed. the lack of levels and the fact most levels have no real use for the freerunning is just stupid. i did like the art style and the customisation but the guns are not that great or different from each other.

This game is very unique, as soon as you press play you start to notice how revolutionised the game is, it's next-gen compared to other shooters in todays market (Call of Duty), it may have some flaws but a few updates and the majority of the problems will be ironed out.
