Battlefield 2:
Battlefield 2 brings the intensity and excitement of its predecessors, Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam, into the modern era with the latest, most technologically advanced vehicles and weapons systems available to man.
In Battlefield 2, players will choose to fight for one of three military superpowers: the United States, China, or the newly formed Middle East Coalition. Armed with the latest modern weaponry, players can take control of any of the game's 30+ vehicles to engage in major conflicts.
Battlefield 2 features immense, richly detailed, destructible environments, from city streets to remote forests, in some of the most notorious hot spots around the world. Each map in Battlefield 2 adjusts in scale to support the number of players in the world, providing the ideal vehicle-to-player ratio and an optimized game play experience. Enhanced team play features allow players to enter the action on the front lines as part of a formal squad, or work behind the scenes in Commander Mode to direct the strategic assaults of their team mates. With in-game success, players increase their rank from recruit all the way to General and unlock awards, including new weapons, vehicle decals, medals, and more.
Special Forces Expansion Pack:
In Battlefield 2 Special Forces, players will choose to fight as one of 6 different Special Forces soldiers - Navy SEALs, British SAS, Russian Spetznas, MEC Special Forces, Rebel groups and insurgents. Armed with the latest Special Forces weaponry, players can take control of any of the game's 10 new vehicles to engage in major conflicts with up to 64 players. Additionally, persistent character growth allows players to continue to rise through the ranks.

Includes Battlefield 2 and Special Forces Expansion Pack

 Great Game

I would have given it 5 stars maybe 3 months ago, but now it has aged abit and 4 seems fair. I was a massive fan of this game and continued playing it even when the newer 2142 came out since the weapons of the new one just didnt take my fancy.

Although its a battle of commitment to get the hang of the game as you find yourself dieing ALOT it makes its alll the more rewarding when u get decent, which games like halo lack since any old newbie can rocket kill you in that...

Anyway i would reccommend this game, although its bordering on too ollld, so i'd reccommend the newer 2142 game although it dosent take my fancy

 It recks relationships

This game is without a doubt years ahead of any other multiplayer FPS on the market. you can flying heli's while a friend shoots a TV missile from it. you fly all types of attack planes f35's j10 etc and bomb anywhere on the map, this is the best game that will ever hit the market... only way it can be beaten is by a bf3.... which iam pleased to say is coming out end of the year 08/09

amazing PC game. Best FPS to date. Needs a more advanced PC spec than most but graphics can be adjusted. Miss the Singleplayer but Multiplayer makes up for it ten fold. Nice addition to any PC game assortment.

 All round great!

First things, First, this is one of the best fps games out there, comibing real life weapons and huge battlefields this game cpatures the esscence of what and FPS should be. I found my self lost in hours of shooting down jets, helicopters, C4ing tanks, cars and even people.

Single Player - I never find use for single player but battlefield has a nice little single player mode that gives you all the hands on training you need. 16 players on the smaller maps allowing you to test everything there is, if your after a storyline your in the wrong place really.

Multiplayer - The defining thing about this game, from 16 - 64 players, all out war in as many servers as there are players! The realism of the game forces realistic tatics and combined effort in small squads or an all out push from the whole team to over power the opposition. The maps are effortlessly perfect offering multiple captue points always keeping the game flowing. The vehicle element makes getting around extremely easy but at the same time very fun as you find youself dodging rockets and swerving as that tank that just pulled up adjusts to fire. The game is evenly set out so no one weapon/team/vehicle has too much of an advantage. The leveling system is also another great feature making you play more to get your hands on that special weapon you've been picking up off the dead.

With so many vehicles, classes, weapons and teams to choose from, battlefield 2 is ranked i n my top 5 games ever!
