Killing Floor is a co-op survival horror first-person shooter taking place in the devasted cities and countryside of England, after a series of cloning experiments for the military goes horribly wrong. You and your friends are members of the military and police, dropped into these locations with a simple mission: survive long enough to cleanse the area of the failed experiments. The only problem is, these "experiments" aren't waiting to be taken out - they're coming for you!

Great Game - Never Bores (Better Than Left For Dead 2)

| | See all Devilboy125's reviews (5)

This game is just AWESOME! Purely killing zombies either by yourself or teamed up. The graphical detail is great (Obv' A Decent Graphics Card is required). Highly recommended for when your bored and need endless fun (And Enjoy Computer Games).

NOTE: ONLY buy it if you exeed the system requirments (Windows 7/Vista) or meet the system requirments (Windows XP/98). I am running it on windows 7 and i meet the requirments but it still runs very slow even though i have the required RAM. (Remember, Windows 7/Vista eat more fo your RAM than Windows XP/98 does.

 outstanding fun

Origanaly bought this game thinking it was a solo game, only to be dissapointed to find it was a co-op, well i thought what the hell, al have a go online since a bought it and cant send it back, absolutley brilliant, zombies , guts , weapons , what more could you ask for, i never thought co-ops were so much fun and this one is def a one to get, watch you team mates get attacked by 20 zombies and go to the rescue with a granade boom, top quality game ad def recomend for resedent evil fans etc , mind in the same breath dont buy it if you want to play solo, its not much fun after a week : )

Nice game but gets boring very fast

The only real accomplishments to do while playing this is level up your classes, once thats done theres literally nothing to do but the same cycle over and over again on the same maps with the same buggy ui monsters. 3/5 simply because of how long it lasts good otherwise.

 Better Than Left 4 Dead

This game, runs big fat zombie rings around L4D, the engine is better (Source = FAIL) the AI is better, the weapons, the perks, the achivements, the characters...the GAME is better.
6 player co-op is better than L4D's 4 player
fight zombies in hordes, not just all coming at you at once
Darker, more grungy feel to things
Based on the Unreal 3 engine, MUCH better than Source in every possible way.

Frequent Steam updates and a HUGE modding community offering "white-listed" maps (Maps that the developers have "adopted" and allow achivements and perks to be used on them) mods (including a L4Desq "versus" mode) called "mutators".

Cannot be beaten, except by Killing Floor 2...

 Terrifyingly addictive

For this price I thought, meh, give it a try... and the only problem with the game is that it has absolutely decimated my game collection. I mean, why ever play anything else?

Most of the week at work I just think about the upcoming weekend and the blood-orgies me and my mates are going to have online: co-op has never been this much fun! The different character types (and the ability to weld doors in front of the hordes) makes it a more tactical game than you'd think. And compared to many player-vs-player games, the players are (almost without exception) real gentlemen who help out by healing, giving cash, weapons and advice. I'd go as far as to say that there is an almost "brotherly" feeling going on against the zombies: "hold steady, lads!!!" Amusing British voice acting (that uses many memorable quotes) just adds to the atmosphere.

The best thing is that it in no way requires the latest hardware to run! C'mon, this is an absolute MUST-BUY if you've ever enjoyed co-op or are planning to...
