Discover the games that created a legend!

Before the movies, the comic books, the animated TV series and the rollercoasters, there were the games that started it all. Tomb Raider took the world by storm when first launched and Lara Croft became an overnight sensation. Discover why in this collection of Lara's first four adventures. From the Great Wall of China to the rooftops of London, from the icy wastes of the Antarctic to the sweltering Indian jungle, the action never lets up for a moment. Join Lara on the journey of a lifetime, if you can keep up with her!

This is a must for all the new Tomb Raider fans around the world, particularly for ones who haven't played the first one (can you believe it's now 16 years old?) For hardcore players, there's nothing new here. Tomb Raider 1 works comes with a new installer via DOSBox (for XP, Vista & Windows 7 users) to help run the game. The other sequels run like clockwork, other than that there are no other modifications like graphic-tweaks. My 3-star rating may have been 4 if the package itself had a manual explaining the history of Tomb Raider, which is surprising considering the DVD box itself is one of those that could easily have a manual-or-two inside. Plus it's lack of basic information on how DOSBox works means it could put off gamers who are interested in just Tomb Raider 1.

Generally this is a must-have for all gamers and I'm happy I bought this, as this could may well be the last time Eidos/Mastertronic release anything like this.
