Be stealthy, be accurate, or be dead

If there is a situation that the US government can't allow, it would surely be an old Uranium mine controlled by guerilla forces in a rogue state. Take part in a secret Delta Force mission to secure the site as an elite commando sniper. Not only international security, but also your own security lays in your hands, as you infiltrate the enemy compounds with one goal: shoot to kill. If you can't manage to remain unseen, you won't make it home!
  • Enjoy a fully realistic ballistic system that accounts for distance falloff and environmental effects such as wind
  • Manage your breathing for increased accuracy of sniper shots
  • Cooperate with your spotter for a better performance
  • Watch your bullets strike the enemy with pin-point accuracy in Bullet Cam mode
  • The most realistic and comprehensive sniper shooting experience ever! Tune your weapon, use the information provided by the spotter, check the force and direction of the wind, hold your breath, all in one goal - to improve the accuracy!
  • Huge levels giving many opportunities for a sniper: find a perfect shooting point, and make sure that no one notices you!
  • Incredibly detailed landscapes that will give you a realistic feeling of being in the jungles of Columbia

just finished playing the demo of what i feel is an amazing game, by far the best that city interactive have made.. i alwasy felt City games lacked what most teh more seasoned games manufacturers had, but at the same time released decent games for anyone with a strict budget. Sniper GW though from the demo anyways reminded me of a classic Sniper Elite but with teh effects and quality of CoD4 and Bad Company 2.. it challenges you and makes u want to try a more stealthy way around ur objectives even if it means u have to resist the urge to run in guns blazing... definitely buying the full game, awsome :)

 Very impressed

I have just finished playing the full version of this game, the graphics are equal if not more stunning than Crysis, very very nice textures, the game has a nice feeling to it, i'd say that the single player took me around 6-8 hours to complete fully (didn't particularly count exactly, but it was around this) quite good storylines, would have liked to be able to snipe from more extreme ranges, but plenty of 'stealthy' missions if thats your sort of thing, i personally enjoyed this a lot and would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying it if you have a decent pc system. this game is quite graphically intensive but if you have the system then it is awesome. ( I have a i7920, GTX295, 12gb DDR3 RAM + P6T Deluxe V2 and i was running the game max settings, 1920x1200 and getting around 30 fps, which is quite playable)
My only niggle with this game would be the character models. they repeat the same character models quite a few times. i'd say i only spotted maybe 6-7 character models throughout the whole maps which can be quite annoying to say how good the rest of the game is.

Overall the game is worth the money and a very good buy indeed.

 What a disappointment

There are only two positive things in this game; the scenery, very detailed and realistic and the bullet cam, quite funny at time, other than that there was very little else to praise. The lack of depth in game play, low AI, glitch infested maps and an absolutely awful script left my jackal suit smelling of damp swamp.

I would not recommend this game and I would certainly not pay and more than 4.99 for this unfinished garbage.

I had high hopes for this game but, like most city interactive games, it failed to impress. For starters the Ai is extremly stupid and goes out of its way not to use cover and when they find a body, all they do is stand still and look around allowing you to easily pop them in the head, and this is suppose to be max difficultie. The game also steals missions from other games, Breaking though doors in slow motion on an oil rig...... ring any bells? However there are some positives to the game. The Jungle Envioments are extremly lush and pretty and the how the envioment affects the bullet is great. I do hope City Interative try there hand at a sequel to iron out the mistakes of the first game.
