O.k this game is not perfect and it's a little too arcady for me but this does make online racing closer, there are several bugs in this game and hopefully they will be addresed soon.
Good graphics and if using a wheel like G27 it's got great feedback.
It's not a good as the mods on rfactor offering very little in terms of setup but for their first outing into F1 its good, the games engine is a peach.
Worth it but only if you like F1!!
The best F1 game I've ever played on the PC, however there hasn't been much opposition! I played with an overclocked 5830 graphics card and it runs at 45 fps. Driving can be a handful to get used to, I'd recommend a wheel, using a Hama V5 myself and works like a charm. If not, an xbox controller would do the trick.
Graphics are beautiful, even includes a track not raced on before 2010 F1 season commenced (Korea).
Only downside to the game are the bugs, many were addressed by the patch but some big ones remain. The big one appears to be lap timing service.
I can only imagine that Codies 2011 edition will be a 5 star classic.
this game is a must for any f1 fan i have it for the xbox 360 but think will wait a month for pc ver, as like any new pc release it will be buggy on release untill first patch released graphics are good on 360 so should be even better on pc with hopefully dx11 in a upcoming patch, the only thing i found playing it with a joypad is any longer than 11 laps and your hand and thumb start to go dead would not like to do full 60+ laps a wheel would be a good idea if wanting to do full race coz after pratice and qualifiying your hand will be killing befor even starting race of 10% ie 11 laps rather than 60 laps , another in game gripe that may be different pending on dificulty setting is after changing tyers they dont show as cold there allways green optimal temp ... there are alot of car set up settings wich can be a pain trying to get the car right for the track be prepered to spend alot of time just doing one race , but a defo for any f1 fan hope the sort bugs out soon
The drive engine in codemasters colin mc rae was one of the best and they have done it again in the world of the round and round circus but oh dear, so many bugs, and things ' not quite right ' . Which is a shame as it looks the part. Try a fast pit stop and you'll see. The old rally game beckons for a better afternoon and smoother realism
