I was concerned that I might not like BORDERLANDS, as I've played games with stylised graphics before and have found this type of design can reduce the immersive qualities that I love about gaming. I need not have worried. Borderlands is one of the best games I've played. The visuals are very impressive and suck you right in. This is open-world gaming at it's best, with many large maps to explore as you complete the numerous missions. There are hundreds of weapons to collect and use, or sell along the way (gathering loot quickly becomes addictive). A wide variety of enemies will take you on as you progress up the levels. The combat is varied and the AI is good if not exceptional. Although there's little story to speak of there's enough humour to just about make up for this. It's possible that some might find the missions a tad repetitive but I was so engrossed in the game that I didn't tire of them and completed every one, including the 3 DLCs available. As for multi-player, well co-op is great fun but best played with people who you can rely on to share the loot. 4.5/5

so much fun in such a game. lots of game time, blood, guts and guns to play with, and a great co-op game too.

Havent found any other game that combines RP and FPS so well. Not only is the gameplay itself satisfying (although vastly different from game ssuch as CoD and Halo, so beware if that's your thing) but the effort put into the script, locations and addon packs is immense. Truly a pleasure to play, this will keep me satisfied until Borderlands 2 comes out. By the way, it really is more fun with more people, but enjoyable enough by yourself too. Increasingly rare these days...

  Great mutiplayer

Had it on 360 but without the DLC and with most games is much better on the PC. best played with 3-4 people but can be enjoyed on your own.

A truly awful game. I bought it as it was on offer and I heard there were loads of weapon combinations. No point really as the weapons seem so similar and ineffective. I'm glad I only paid a few quid as I was back on Black Ops in less than 2 hours. Save your money for either Black Ops, COD4, Bad Company 2 or basically anything but this.

Borderlands.. where do i begin..
Simply a master piece for one.
2K really went all out with this game, it has so much to do it will keep you busy and entertained for hours.
Solo or Co-op the fun never ends the story line will take you at least sevral hours to complete by yourself. or team up with a pal offline or up to 3 online throughout the entire storyline to throw stronger enemies better weapons and a lasting challenge into the mix. or take it to the duel arena to really test your metal against other human players online.
you wont regret buying this game.
