very nice, a lot to do

Bought this a while back, but this game is brilliant combined with the expansion pack - rush hour; you can drive and fly in your very own city, even though it isn't that realistic... its still fun.

theres a variety of things to add to your own city, like trains, monorails; over and underground which is fun.

worth the cheap price, definitely.

and yes it should run on windows7 no reason why it shouldn't

Forget any other version other than the Deluxe Edition, this game is all-encompassing, all conquering.

There is simply no better city sim, I own City Life - bad clone, Sim City Societies - Dissapointing.

I can't explain to you the joy of setting up an area watching it grow then naming the street, after your dog, or mum.. it's just brilliant, pure class, you can check a box so a ropey petrol garage will always stay there as the rest of the zone blossoms into a hyper advanced state..

Just make sure your system is compatible - go to the website and grab the patches.

It crashes on Athlon machines.

I love this game, I've actually bought more than one copy, I just can't wait for Sim City 5 to come out - whenever that may be... soon I hope.

Ignore rochie's review, SC4 is great!

I'm not sure what planet Rochie is on, but strongly disagree with him. Sim City 4 is an excellent game with masses and masses of depth, certainly way more than any previous Sim City game before it. How Rochie can call it boring and yet claim to be a fan of the series is unfathomable, its got way more in it than all of the previous versions put together, and the graphics are great for a game of its age.

  A Must Buy

This game is the best game I have played. It offers excellent graphics along with great tools to build your city. I love this and I am addicted to it. God mode is great, you can make any landscape you can imagine, and the new regions where you join all your cities is amazing.

  classic

not much to say really, players of the sim city games will know how addictive they are and theres no difference with this one. Being able to link citys and create "super" cities give a new dimension, one that just adds to the overall playability. A game you can lose yourself in for days at a time. Timeless classic.
