Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War:
Ten thousand years have passed since the treasonous acts of Chaos toppled the Golden Age of mankind. Fires burn brightly throughout the galaxies, illuminating carnage and slaughter as mankind defends itself from ancient enemies. Hardened forces collide with one goal in mind, the complete extermination of their opposition.
Control one of four unique races in head-to-head or cooperative multiplayer action, where faith, skill, and strategy are requisites in ruling the universes.

Winter Assault (Expansion Pack):
Lost amongst the ruins of a leveled city lies an Emperor Class Titan, a war vessel of untold power forged in the planet-wide furnaces of Mars, and revered by billions as the epitome of Imperial dominance. The one who controls it will command the power to destroy, or defend, a world. The Imperials will summon it to overcome great evil, Chaos will corrupt it for their own designs, Orks will destroy it in their bloodlust and Eldar will disregard it in their arrogance.

Dark Crusade (Expansion Pack):
The bitter war for domination of the remote planet Kronus rages between Tau, Orks, Space Marines, Eldar, Imperial Guard and Chaos whilst deep in their tombs beneath the surface the sinister Necrons are awakening after 60 million years in stasis. Now, in the 41st millennium, they have found a galaxy teeming with life - a galaxy ripe for harvesting.

This is the best PC collection ever made. You should always do the trainning because it is a bit hard to start off with. But after you have the hang of it, it is impossable to turn the computer. You need this collection even if you are not a Warrhammer 40,000 fan, well you do need to be a fan but you will still love it. YOU WILL LOVE IT !!!!!!

Little things make this series good. Units will shoot at range and switch to hand-to-hand when it gets close! Not like some RTS games where armies stand next to each other shooting point blank. Kill animations are fun to, watching an enemy unit stuned and then extraventley killed is great to watch, and a great touch!
Very good gameplay and variety of armies will keep this being played for hours.
All in all, if you like RTS games, you will like this!

Well thought out its one of those games that will keep you entertained for hours. I bought it because it looked like good packaging but inside you can fight as many cool armies.

Its a bit like Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth and if you enjoyed that this is a good alternative. Not quite as free play as LOTR BFME2 but you have to use your brain or the enermy will take advantage of your weakness.

With 3 sets in the anthology it gives you plenty of skirmishes and campaigns to choose from as well as a very good training mode. I haven't tried the online version mainly because those who play online have generally worked out the precise strategy that always wins.

Its a 16 rating and I believe this is because the videos inbetween game play are like films and small sections are very violent. If you want a game for the kids buy Lord of the Rings Battle for Middleearth 1 or 2 and the witch-king add on.

I am sure it will keep gamers of all kinds busy for hours.
