Star Wars: The Old Republic

I have beta tested this game and it is great. However this pre-order game does not provide early access as detailed by Bioware. These codes are handled on a first come first serve basis and Play are not providing these codes.

Played it through beta and tbh (not being a star wars nut) was quite surprised at how fun it was. Have pre-ordered it and am awaiting the early access codes, if any1 can shed light on this it would be appreciated. But its definately going to be a good game and thus can't wait for release :)

Before we start i dont like getting into WoW is better argument, but yes WoW was a gr8 MMORPG but come on we needed a new challenger because lets face it the others (AoC, LOTR, Champions which i have all tried) just never got close to WoW. The old republic is genuine challenger and if the makers keep putting in the effort they have so far it will soon surpass WoW as it has an awful lot more to it. It is everything they promised and more and i could not be happier that they decided to take their times with this wonderful game. I urge any Star Wars fan to definitely buy and anyone looking for a change to WoW i think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I've played WOW since 2007 and most of the larger MMO releases since but this game has a flavour of its own. Many of the key UI components will be familiar to anyone who has played a AAA MMO in the past few years but the inclusion of story driven questing and the Star Wars licence amongst many other things, make this game stand out from the crowd. True, SWTOR is not a revolution but its deffinately a welcome evolution.

I'm on my second weekend of Beta testing.. A much needed change from WoW. UI is quite similar to other MMO and simple to master the basics. I'm also still waiting for my pre-order code, not sure how long this will take to be sent. Hopefully the start of somthing big!
