5 best train simulator1966batfan | 28/01/2012 | See all 1966batfan's reviews (1)I have played Microsoft Train Sim, BVE and Trainz simulators and have to say this simulator is more realistic than them all!You are the driver and you can walk freely through the train and on station platforms. Typically when you start a game you go to the end of the train to turn on the tail lights and set the destination board. Then you walk to the front of the train and prepare the train for service. You turn on all the cabin lights, set the destination and turn on the ATO announcments. It seems very detailed but there is a very clear tutorial on how to play the game and after a couple of attempts the controls are easy to get used to.This game is better suited for PC's with a high RAM as the graphics are of high quality. If you find it lags go to the settings and turn the screen resolution down, if it still lags after that turn the visibity settings down from high to medium. I have a fairly standard PC and it works smootly, I just had to change the screen res settings.I would HIGHLY recommend this game!
