It takes more than just being a great tank commander to win. In World Of Tanks, it's all about teamwork. Victory can only be achieved through the combined efforts of every member of the team, each playing their own role on the battlefield.

Your armoured steed is not just a tin can on tracks - it is a living, evolving creature and should be treated accordingly. Experience and credits gained in battle allow you to research and develop upgrades and modifications.

The retail version of World Of Tanks, the multi award-winning tank MMO, comes with two differnt codes . The bonus code for gamers who already have a World Of Tanks account and an Invitation Code for new players.

The bonus code includes the following in-game items:

Premium tank PzKpfw 38H 735 (f): The Premium Tank PzKpfw 38H 735 (f) is a battering ram in its class. In action, it lives up to its nickname of "Mini-Maus" - like the full-size Maus tank it is extraordinarily strongly armored for its class, and being thus able to break through enemy lines ahead of its comrades and tear holes in opposing formations.

Additional garage space: This premium tank comes with its own, extra garage space, so that players can keep plenty of spaces in their garage to research and deploy their own tank models. The cost of an additional garage space otherwise costs 300 gold in the game.

One week of Premium Account status: A Premium Account is the way to experience World Of Tanks in luxury. For every battle during the week their premium account is active, the player will receive 50% more experience and credits as a reward. With the extra experience points, the player will research the tech tree much faster, and therefore has the possibility of unlocking additional, higher-level tanks more quickly. Credits in World Of Tanks are used to purchase all tanks (premium tanks excluded), upgrade modules such as engines, guns, and radios, as well as standard types of ammunition and extra equipment for tanks. More credits mean a better-equipped tank. As a visual highlight, premium account holders will receive a markedly more impressive and nicer garage for their tank collection. A week of premium account status costs 1250 gold.

2000 Gold: Gold is the luxury currency in the game. Gold cannot be earned through gameplay, but only obtained in exchange for real money. For example, you can use gold to buy more parking spaces for your tanks, acquire premium tanks, equip your tanks with better ammunition and more experienced crew, or convert earned experience into free experience, which the player can then spend on research for all tank classes, and not only for the tank that earned the experience.

50,000 Credits: Credits are the standard currency in World Of Tanks. These can be earned through successful battles and particularly good performance in the game. Naturally, you always have too few credits, so these 50,000 credits can be applied, among other things, to load up the bonus tank with additional splinter protection to reduce damage from explosive projectiles and battering attacks by 15%.

The Invitation Code includes the following in-game items:

Three days of Premium Account status (worth 650 Gold).

1000 Gold.

After using the invitation code to create a World Of Tanks account, a new player can use the bonus code included in the box. A player who already has an account can give the invitation code to a friend who isn't yet playing World Of Tanks.

This is simply one of the best F2P games out there, and with with disc you get alot of free premium gold for your money. I have been playing this game for over a year and with every update the game just gets better. Its a must for all the hard core gamers out there. Its not as simple as driving and shooting a tank, there is alot of stratagy involved. Its kind of a FPS in a tank with alot more stratagy +1

great Game brilliant graphics and game play. you will not be disappointed at all the tanks are all difrent to starts off slow then as you up grade you game realy opens up. will alwas be going back to this.

I've always wanted to get into a decent tank game and I had high hopes for this after reading the positive reviews.
I've played this for a week (yes, only a week) and thats just about all the time i'm going to spend on it.
The game is overloaded with detail, there are so many WW2 era tanks available, they've even included loads that were never made! There are new guns, turrets, engines to research, crew training to do etc etc.
The graphics are mediun to poor, I actually think Battlfield 1942 was as good as this, man that was a good game. The maps are uninspiring, and the gameplay is just a bit boring. Drive, stop, hide, drive, shoot a bit, get blown up. For a game overloaded with realism in detail, how come every online battle ends up with you and 20 other people driving round an unconvincing landscape in an assortment of tanks from different eras and countries? It might have taken me a week, but I have come to the conclusion this game is no good, and could actually be rubbish, yes, there, I said it.
Add to that the massive download update required, and the fact that you actually Buy in game money with real money, forget it.
Maybe I should have given it a few more weeks, errr, no.

Tanks that look and behave like Dinky toys.
Arcadey type gameplay, point;ess trivia.
Red Orchestra Ostfront is far better and cheaper.
