Guild Wars: Nightfall takes place on the continent of Elona, Land of the Golden Sun. It is a nation comprised of three great provinces. The island province of Istan is the home of a vibrant people who live among the monuments of an ancient empire. The military province of Kourna, under the command of its great leader, Warmarshal Varesh, hugs the shores of the mighty river Elon. And in the rugged lands to the north, the Princes of Vabbi rule from their opulent citadels. Elona is a land of wealth and power, protected by its champions, the Order of the Sunspears. In Guild Wars: Nightfall, Elona has fallen under the shadow of an evil, outcast god. Against the encroaching desolation of an infernal realm, the people of Elona will need more than a hero to save them, they will need a hero to lead them... for nightfall is at hand.

Guldwars is truly a stunning game. The first 3 things that i thought were amazinng were: 1.This is so easy to install.
2. So many character options. 3. The graphics rock.
and this is before im even playing it properly......
WoW is good lets admit it. But when you consider you get all this for £18 for ever and splash out anything from £80 to £130 a year for World of Warcraft, its starting to look bad. Then consider that all people on Guildwars are on 1 server. One massive server. Then consider the max level is 20. Your first thought is 'that sounds rubbish' but then you realise it means that the newbies are never right down the ladder. Everyone works together well. Then on top of all this every week new data is automatically put on to GW. This includes quests, weapons, armour and a whole lot more. Then all the character classes. Make a guild and have a balance of charcters and you've got one mighty fightin' force. Ah yes the guilds. The heart of Guild Wars. Make a guild beef it up go to war with other guilds and complete quests together. These work particularly well if you have a group of colleagues or school mates to play with.
So that my friends is why WoW just hung itself.

Nightfall feels that its gone back to basics, as playing this made me feel like a new adventurer again, do you remember that feeling when you first started playing Guild Wars: Prophecies well expect the same again. This time around they have added a fantastic feature called HERO'S. The idea is you are able to unlock various characters that though you have limited control over them you are free to customise them with armour and to what skills they use when following your character through the game. Over all a good addition to the Guild wars universe.

Excellent for solo or group play

Nightfall is a brilliantly thought out Role Playing aventure, which allows you to wander off the story-line and pick it up again when you're ready. The land and history are well thought out and the Character development is straight forward. The addition of Heros to your party gives an extra dimension to the game as you can leave them to progress with little input or you can get involved with skill choices and equipment selection. Guild wars is the best in its class of game and Nightfall has yet to be bettered as an expansion of the game.

Dont listen to the noob below me, he just likes getting ripped off. This game as well as the others in the series are top notch stuff, extremely addictive and a lot of fun to play as well. Will have you hooked in no time at all, easy to learn, but difficult to master. RPG fan or not this game is awesome, graphics are average but gameplay is everything here!!

 More Than A Online Game

This game takes us into the new generation of online gaming. The stunning fact of not having to pay for monthly subscriptions really is an added bonus plus the games are absolutly fantastic. Nightfall the latest installment to the guild wars phenomenom takes place in a new area to prophecies & factions but add's the fact that you can travel back to them if you own the games.

Graphics: Stunning, the only word that can describe them, the landscape goes for miles on your screen & yet its all beautifully rendered to make the player feel like your there. The character & monster detail is out of this world by imagination & cannot be topped.

Gameplay: ENDLESS....... ive been playing guild wars since it came out & i still havent got bored of it. Im still enjoying every new part of land im uncovering & the missions never end.

Overall: Buy It! if your pc has the requirments for the game.. BUY IT. you will not be dissapointed.

Thanks for reading.
