WW2 games are now just plain dull as every aspect of the war has been covered. There have also been plenty of ww2 RTS games, but none of these are nearly as good as Company of Heroes.
The battles basically follow the story of band of brothers, like the fight for carentan and operation market garden. The missions are not repetitive as they have different objectives such as raiding a nazi airbase at night and taking the beach at D-Day. Controling your squad is simply its just point and click to cover and and move vehicles to support. Graphically the soldiers, battlefields, effects and vehicles look suiperb, you zoom in on a character and see every small details.
Anyone who likes strategy games will simply love this its makes ww2 seem fresh.

company of heroes is the game ive been waiting for, a well executed world war 2 real time strategy game. And i mean well executed, this game is unbelievable!! The campaign is challenging, fun and very rewarding and is accompanied by a very different skirmish mode that'll keep you playing for months. Great game, and now that is's been out a while a great buy at only £7.

Good game play great detail and sound effects great to bomb everyone takes some mastering but has a great tutorial.
