What can i say... Single player was exceptional, back to the times when you could sit down and actually enjoy C+C with its cut scenes and all. The addition of the alien race only makes the game more intresting especially when you play as Nod.
Major downside.. Multiplayer is terrible. Its been aimed at a specific market of people who play 1v1 and believe that stats are everything. There is no longer any longevity in a multiplayer match, if you dont have a superweapon or at least some heavy attack units your all but dead.
Its a far cry from Zero Hour when you could play a 3v3, or 4v4 and the gaming was immense and could last awhile with a range of different attacks and tactics used.. Now its be the fastest builder and you win. Thats pretty much it.
Want C+C for single player then buy it, but if you want a decent multiplayer game.. then avoid it and go for a different RTS title.
OK, so the storyline is pretty short, the sexy FMV girls of the past have been replaced by Michael Ironside, Lando and some guy with a mullet, but the gameplay is as good as ever, and the graphics are better than ever. One gripe is that the multiplayer registration can fail if you have to reinstall the game on your machine.
A great sequel to the franchise, as many people thought it was dead. But here it is in all its glory, and my my its a bloody good blast. The single player campaign is long and engrossing, with three factions to complete. Which adds up to over 42 missions. The you have the hard as nails multiplayer left to keep you busy for a long long time to come. But get ready if your a newbie to the series as their are a lot of veterans out there who will wipe the floor with you in about ten minutes.
