           You can do better

With Halo 3 out soon for the consoles, this is way too little to late from Microsoft. The graphics and gameplay are average at best : for console owners it might be good, but PC owners can do so much better. Play UT and Battlefield for online, and the likes of Far Cry / Half Life 2 etc for solo play.
And making it Vista only is a complete insult; it doesn't use DX10 or anything else Vista specific.
Finally the price is about twice what they should be trying to get away with.
          Avoid...

If you know how to use Google you will find there is a patch which allows you to play this on XP.

          Happy fragging!

More polished than the original story, the plotline makes sense - unlike a lot of games. The graphics have been slightly improved, and if you only have a PC, it's certainly cheaper to get this and a Windows controller than fork out for an Xbox. Changes include the ability to wield two weapons simultaneously, new enemies, vehicles and weapons. If you've ever enjoyed Halo on the Xbox, you won't be disappointed by this conversion.

           Let down

Have never looked forward to playing a game so much and been let down as equally than Halo 2. Because it has to be compatible with Windows Live multiplayer so all the nice lil xbox people can play with all the nice lil Pc people, the game has been (from a PC viewpoint) kept at the xbox standard of play. The game plays like the console, aka rough, the slightest movement is magnified, characters move like an old black and white silent movie compared to the first Halo for the PC. My own pc is well above the top requirments for this game and i was tearing my hair out at how sluggish everything ran. It feels like a rushed port job, everything from the gameplay to the menu's are aimed at the console user, (press button A to continue...i dont have a button A you muppet!!) I feel completely let down by Microsoft, i expected a PC branded Halo 2 to take full advantage of what a PC can do but instead after years of waiting we get tossed a straight port conversion like an afterthought.

What could have been a great game is only a great disapointment

has Microsoft give up this game is like a Ps1 Game, didn't see S.T.A.L.K.E.R coming, Obviously Didn't Graphics only slightly better than Halo 1 could play on win 98, Xp would be great but only on Vista, This is a joke to the Adult PC gamer. if you like Mickey mouse or xbox 360 Buy, But as for PC AVOID wait for crysis or stick with battlefied 2 or 2142 this games only 2 year behind. by the time Halo 3 comes to pc start playing Pac-man now.
