I had to return the game unopened because of an idiotic system, which forces you to sign up to some third party agency called Steam in order to activate your game and receive updates. As I only access the internet at work, this rules me out.
Zero marks to CapCom for not making it abundantly clear that their nasty little copy protection scheme means this is not a stand-alone game, as you might at first think. Why can't they just use a registration code, like everyone else?
Althought the game is good I don't recommend this to many as the specs listed on play.com are bare minimum! unless you got an 8800 graphics card STAY AWAY FROM THIS CARD! I advise you to get the 360 version over this one if you got a 360 or at least try the demo to see how well it plays on your system b4 buying. I hope this helps somebody..
if your pc is up to task aka you have a 8800gtx 768mb like me, you will love this game. Put all the graphics to full and it was one of the best looking games i have ever seen. gameplay is fun aswell, worth th money and more.
What a Monster of a game.
They wernt kidding about the reccomended specs, im running a C2D E6700, Vista Premium, 8800GTX Over Clocked and 2Gb of 800mhz Dominator Ram and just about does the job on highest settings....it does look great though if your after DX10 eye candy, shame they never took advantage of the Ageia Physx engine on this game it would have been even better...
Do buy this game:- if you have a Powerfull PC and love your graphics - (great story and fab game play)
Dont buy this game:- if you dont have the internet or an old chugger of a machine. Not a very long game 12 levels

This game is ok. A standard shoot 'em up with various camera views, explosions and firefight frenzys.
People say the gfx are far better on the pc and so they should be, with ever upgradeable cards they shall always surpass consoles.
Those complaining about Steam, its not that bad, tho yes maybe an internet connection needed but who doesnt have the net these days. And if you are dropping connection, its not steam thats the issue or this game, its your wi-fi get an ethernet cable for the love of god.
And also those commenting about the poor port job from the xbox360 to the PC ... well its dx9 and dx10 compatible, which means those in dx10 will be using vista, thus buy the xbox360 pad available here for £17.99 and then see if the buttons correspond to the tips on the screen. Maybe they should have a tips for keyboard / tips for pad configuration tho. Its an early port so expect some issues, but this game is very much playable.
