Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is the sequel to the popular Hitman: Codename 47. Once again, enter the mind of the Hitman, an assassin for-hire who is trying to distance himself from his violent past and discover his true identity. Eventually, you find yourself tricked into returning to your trade by a twisted Russian crime boss bent on assisting rogue countries for his own personal and financial gain. You soon realize that you're caught in the middle of a ring of deception and discover that you have become a target yourself - of a highly trained ex-Spetsnaz assassin.

Hitman: Contracts
Hitman: Contracts delivers more action-packed and suspense-filled missions, with a greater variety of ways to make the perfect kill and an increased arsenal of firearms and close-combat weapons. A new graphics engine showcases your 'work' in brutal detail and brings the new locations to life. An improved control system and more gradual learning curve will ensure that the game is accessible to all aspiring hitmen. Hitman: Contracts takes you into the mind of Agent 47, the most ruthlessly efficient contract killer in history. The game begins in Paris as Agent 47 finds himself wounded and trapped in what is a dangerous situation, even for him. Hitman: Contracts explores the dark psychology of killing for a living and promises to be the most disturbing episode in the series.

Hitman: Blood Money
When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are systematically eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. For Agent 47 it's business as usual, until suddenly he loses contact with The ICA. Sensing that he may be the next target, he travels to America, where he prepares to make a killing.
Agent 47 is back and this time he's paid in cold, hard cash.

 An outstanding collection

I was amazed that Play are selling this collection as low as they are!

In my opinion Blood Money alone is worth the current asking price of £14.99 for this collection as that game was easily one of the standout PC titles of last year, taking what were some excellent concepts but in all fairness pretty fragmented and poorly implemented ideas (in Hitman 1-3) and finally producing a game that lived upto both the originality and potential that the series promised.

This package is ideal for anyone that may have missed Blood Money last year or perhaps even those who got into the Hitman series of games late on and missed out on Contracts and Silent Assassin - I'd add that Contracts and Silent Assassin don't quite match the level of polish and design perfection that is Blood Money however for any fan of the Hitman series there a must.

One negative point is that Hitman Codename 47 seems to have been omitted from the collection. The game can be picked up for few quid in most places as its now budget - other than that this is cracking collecion of games.

 Triple The Amount Of Hitman!

The 'Hitman' series has entertained gamers for six years and now it's going to sell-out 3x it's stock within one box. The game is amazing, describing the out-standing violence that a 'Hitman' actually has to go through. The storyline is great but short, but when you can kill like this guy, nothing stops the fun. At the cheap price of £9.99 it is worth it to get the trilogy of this stunning game.

3 great games - an amazing bargain!

I've been a fan of the Hitman series since the days of Codename 47 (probably 10 years ago now) and this is amazing value for money! Forget the 50% discount - this would be a great deal at £20, but at £10 its almost unbelievable!

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is beginning to show its age a bit now, graphically at least, but thanks to interesting level design, solid enemy a.i. and some excellent physics, it still has plenty to offer. Contracts was not a favourite of mine, but it is a great game on the whole, and somewhat different in feel and design to Silent Assassin (this is pretty much why I didn't like it as much). You might prefer it?

Blood Money is great - the best of the 3 for my money. All the previous games in the series had control problems, awkward camera position and sometimes lacked freedom in the way the missions were completed. Blood Money has addressed these issues, and this is most noticable in the great range of alternative ways to complete a mission - stealth, followed by a quick kill perhaps. Or stage an accident and get away clean. Or even go in all guns blazing (if you're brave (stupid) enough).

All the Hitman games demand dedication to complete with a good rating - some levels are almost impossible to complete in stealth mode, but if you put the effort in you'll reap the rewards - better weapons and higher payment, and most importantly the immense satisfaction!

For a tenner you'd really be mad not to - if you enjoy even one of these games as much as I have, then you'll have had your moneys worth.

 A collection to own.

Out of the Hitman series Hitman 2 and Blood Money were the best. Hitman 2 featured some of the best missions to complete. Blood money has been the best due to its wide array of features.

Hitman Contracts wasn't as expected and wasn't on the same par as Hitman Blood Money or 2. All in all its still worth buying considering this pack is at a great price.

 What Fun!

I've played all but one of these games, Contracts, and all I can say is what fun!

Although it's not officially classed as open ended gameplay, the way in which you can complete objectives (killing your target or retrieving a microfilm for example) can be achieved in any number of ways. Sneak in undetected, steal a guards clothes and bypass security that way, or pack a fully customised pair of Silverballers with laser sights and shoot the living hell into everything! The possibilities are, truly endless.

I'm still playing Blood Money having completed it the second time. It's great!
