Simcity? or Roller coaster tycoon with buildings!?

Well..
Im a dedicated fan of all the SC games but this is a total letdown. why the on earth did EA opt for "The Sims" approach?. Is it just to keep milking money coming in off the great SIMS cow?. Its childish and very unrealistic, Nothing like it predecessors. Ghost towns! oh my lord. what a insult to players who appreciated the micro management the SC series. I bought mine and took it back. should have put a age label on the box "5-12", Better luck with Sim city 5, There are many of us waiting for it!. No doubt i'll be slamed for this post but i was so looking forward to a new SC!

Real Simcity players, Give it a miss

Its a game, but its not sim city.

If they called it something else, then fair enough its a city builder type game, im sure some people would like it.

Its argumentitive with road placing, its very "Sims" like, seems to lack alot, no electric cables, no water supplys, no trading with borders, no dealing, no debts/loans etc, 100 population is a milestone, thats what ive gathered from playing it for a couple of hours.

All in all, its a solid user friendly game... but its not Sim City or anywhere close, so from this day forth im going to call it "Societies".

 DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the bad things about this game include:

1. its so easy a 5 year old play it
2. you cannot build trees, even though there is a build manu for trees
3. people do not complain about the roads etc
4. you cannot build water pipes
5. the game get slower and slower as youre city grows until cannot play it
6. you cannot build zones, instead you have to build seperate buildings
7. there are no pre-made cities to choose from

 Not for SimCity fans

Well... its nothing like any of the other simcity games. If you're a fans of these i don't think you're going to like it.
Its more a Sims game than a simctiy. Drag and drop what you want, be it a trailer park or art museum.
maybe it should have been given a different title, this is not simcity.
As a fan of old simcity games i can't get into these games and i've tried hense the poor rating.

 crashes

Simsocieties crashes a lot. The game hasn't been tested properly and EA don't seem to have an answer! The fan forum for the game is full of woe.
