This game is excellent, if you want to take some time out of the house you can! you can go down in the evenings and have romantic dates or just with the family! order what you want give tips or just order some nice room service, they also give you a wide range of hotels to join, or if you want to join a camp :) excellent game for a brilliant price!

This expansion is hit and miss, offering the chance to get your sims away from the boring household and on vacation. The games comes with some varied content and a little extra gameplay, but nothing special.

The downside to this game is having to wait for load times during visits to holiday or vacation spots which really throws the player out of the game.

  Not bad!

I really wanted this game and had been waiting to get it. It came as a bit of a disappointment though. I thought you would be able to create holiday resorts and places in the holiday places but not. The best thing about this expansion pack would have to be all the tons of new items you get. but you may as well just buy a stuff pack and save yourself some money. thank you!

Brilliant Game... But With A Lot Of Problems

People all over the world have been complaining about The Sims 2 Bon Voyage breaking their computer, Unfortunately i am one of these people. It is not the computer being unable to cope with TheSims 2, I know this for 2 reasons - 1) I have every other expansion pack and it works perfectly fine and 2) I have a computer that is made to have games installed on it (Alienware Computer) The sims 2 Bon voyage is, though, one of the best expansion packs, but is always a risk whether your computer will accept it, or cause a virus. F.Y.I the virus is what's known as the blue screen of death, you load the game but the screen turns blue with a lot of white writing, the computer will then restart itself only to fail again!

Might as well go on a proper holiday

This expansion pack is one you have to look out for with soo many glitches that EA had to make 2 different patches as the first caused more problems. Some content is good but when youve been to one of the three new destinations, thats it!! finito. teleporting can be learned and a voodoo doll which basically are the only amazing things inside the game, and these two items is the reason Bon Voyage is still installed

  Addictive Fun!

Bon Voyage is great fun!
Send ur family to Takemizu Village, meet/find a ninja and if u've made a huge house, u'll never have to worry about getting around the place ever again!

with each expansion pack i rate it as the best yet, i own every sims 2 game and thats saying alot ive spent probs 200 pound on getting them and its worth it, i love all things sims, i bought all not long after they were released, university great, nightlife great, open for business great, seasons also great and this is no different i also like the stuff packs and i feel that the only thing needed is to do more cars, a 4x4, a convertible, another smart business executive estate, another cheap car, plus i think more colour ranges would also be great, but apart from that another feather in there cap.

There's nothing wrong, it's just not especially useful.

For those that play the sims games without cheats, a holiday is not particularly beneficial. A great deal of the items are of no use except for holidays, therefore making the title for those who use cheats or build community lots often.
Similar to the pets expansion, and the more recent seasons title the objectives in the game are not profitable; it is far easier to give your sim a conventional job and do conventional tasks. A sim will have higher stats and save more money by going to work then watching TV rather than growing vegetables and raising dogs all day and then going on holiday.
The hardware compatibility was fine for me, but on windows vista there seems to be a noticable drop in performance from when I was on XP, and I have high spec.

I think this game is a really good add on to the Sims 2 collection, it gives more adventure into the game and just more things to do with you sims. i really enjoyed taking my sims to the beach and making them trying to find things in the sand. i couldnt really find any native people to learn things from but maybe it will come with the next holidayi take my sims on
but good game :)
