Empire Earth III takes the legendary real-time strategy franchise and gaming genre to new heights. The ground breaking new game truly puts the Earth into Empire Earth by introducing a spectacular global perspective to conquering the world. The globe will serve as the battleground between the 3 unique factions (Western, Middle-Eastern, and Eastern) that have been created with a stunning new artistic vision. All of human history and beyond - across the entire globe - Empire Earth III commands all!

Freeform Global Gameplay: Empire Earth III lets players battle across the entire globe as they make their bid for world domination. Gameplay unfolds in a richly detailed Earth made up of 60 skirmish maps (provinces) representing real locations on the globe, or create a randomly generated globe to conquer. Players can choose both the starting location and starting era.

Unique Customisable Civilisations: Civilisations are divided into three factions Western, Middle-Eastern, and Eastern. Each faction has its own unique tech tree, units, structures, and game play style. Each faction's tech tree allows players to create completely custom civilisations of their own choosing.

Fully Persistent World: Unlike any other RTS, Empire Earth III will let players keep their spoils of war. As the player builds their empire across the globe their cities and outposts will grow and improve. Their units and structures will evolve over time. You keep what you create, so long as someone else doesn't take it from you.

My Rig is a Quad core 2 gig ram and a 8800 ultra card and for some reason the game still looks choppy, for starters the First Empire Earth Was great because of its size and its simple idea that you have a huge map you have armies and they fight until the last man is standing. games could go on for days, well mine did anyway. then empire earth 2 came out. ok they screwed it up by changing what made the first game great. but it looked ok but to be honest I still prefered the first game. then EE3 comes along.
The only positive things i can say about Empire Earth 3 is that the box Art is nice and that the Disk inside the box is round and thats me being kind. my advice is to pick up the original on budget.

     Disheartend and Dissapointed

when i bought this game i was excited as it's one of the great Empire Earth games...after playing it i was so so let down (no typo either).

the idea of the world domination is good but everything else about the game was appauling...the way it's made is just really bad.

    i'm running:
    Microsoft XP
    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHZ
    2GB RAM
    400GB Hard Drive
18x Dual Layer +R/-R/RW DVD burner
    nVidia 8600GTS 512MB PCI-E Graphics

and the game just jolts and runs choppy as hell...you get all kinds of errors come up and it's just so terrible...i wich i bought COD4 instead!

it's a major dissapointment and will seriously effect Sierra's reputation....
i strongly advise against buying this game unless you're 100% sure you know what you're getting yourself into!

I would not buy this game

I played this game for most of the day and I can safely say, what were they thinking off? The graphics are average at best, the AI is awful including the path finding (units get stuck and you have to destroy them to release your unit cap) there are only 5 epochs meaning large time periods are missed out and the units are thrown together where ever they fit with no historical accuracy. There are just 3 factions and they are an amalgamation of different countries units which in some cases are just made up. And finally the worst part for me is that there is no story line, there is no actual reason for conquering the globe apart from the fact that its there. There is no sense of achievement at all. And the fact that a patch of over 300mb is already out on the release date should tell you something. If your thinking of buying ths game i would strongly recommend that you just buy(or go back to) Rise of nations instead, Empire Earth 3 is just a dumbed down version. Even though its getting old now the graphics are probably better, there are fewer bugs and the gameplay has more depth to it and its cheap. A serious disapointment and considering the hype this game got its shocking.

I was so disappointed with this game, I wish I had read the game reviews before buying!
There is nothing new, and nothing to keep you wanting to play.
