  Excellent Addition to the series.

If you are a guitar hero fan then GH3 is definitely a must buy. The graphics are great, the setlist is awesome and the new controller is cool.
I'll have to add that you may need a fast pc to run on the highest settings but this may be due to me having a old(ish) pc.

One of the problems in the past is that after you've mastered the songs, you're pretty much done there and this could be achieved within a short amount of time, now that theres online multiplayer (for all platforms!) then the replay value just shot through the roof.

A new mode called Battle Mode is also highly entertaining.

I give the game an overall 5/5

  great fun

Like the other peeps say ignore the first reviewer if you've a got a decent chip and gfx card you'll suffer no lag with this game.

Reason i bought this game was because i played it on my mates 360 and had alot of fun and since i dont have a console i went online to see if it was out for the pc.

Well not only was it out for the pc it was £20 cheaper, same game , same guitar everything bargain..

Well what you're waiting for go and buy it now best fun you will have in a long time.. :)

  Excellent game

Good game, well presented. Graphics were good, worked fine on my computer, which if anything was slightly underspec, although I did have to update my graphics drivers to cut lag.

Some of the songs are massivley addictive, Since I have every game of the series and was skeptical of the game hitting a PC I feel it pulled it off very well.

Anyone suffering problems with their graphics should check their drivers are updated and/or their graphics cards are compatible with the game

For all of you with an Xbox 360, yes the PC version comes with the same guitar controller supplied with Guitar Hero II. Great head to head action in this game.

As for the Lag issue all I did was update my GPU (graphics) drivers and it cleared up.

Awsome, but a touch laggy at times on low end PC

What an awsome game! Never played it before, as I dont have a console. So how happy was I to see it was coming out on PC! Pre ordered, and delivered on day of release by Parcel Force. Thanks Play!
Simple, slick menus and presentation. Training was well presented, and after my first 'Hammer On' I was giggling away and couldnt wait to get a career started!
Choice of songs is limited to start with, but they expand as the game progresses. Im looking forward to Muse.
Not played anything other than the career option so far, so cant comment on the multiplayer yet.
Guitar is exactly the same as the one used in Xbox 360 version (I can tell this because it has a button with the Xbox 'X' on it. Should be useful if any mates have the console version.

As the first reviewer stated, this game does seem to suffer from a touch of lag (Especially when the Star Power kicks in). The graphics slow a fair bit, but its still possible to play the right notes at the right time (if you remember what they are!). My PC is right on, if not below minimum spec (3GHz processor with 1Gb RAM, and an average graphics card.) Ive turned the graphics right down, although there isnt much option there. You can also tweak the graphic and audio lag settings if they are not quite in time.
Im still on easy mode at the moment, which only uses 3 buttons. Looking forward to using the fourth!

Well worth £45 I would say. Good choice of songs looking at the playlist, although some are obsure, I like some of the ones I hadnt heard before already. Buy buy buy!

this game lags like hell i have well over the recommened specs for this game, its really annoying when your nailing a killer solo only for the notes to speed up or slow down when they feel like
