If you've played earlier versions of this game, be prepared for a major disapointment. I don't know what Blade were thinking, when they redid this game, but it reminded me of Vista. IE taking twice times as long to do something. Maybe because its a port from the Wii, but it takes twice as long to do anything, the interface is rubbish, no network option or online gameplay, graphic gliches are unreal, ie Bald player and there was a pony tail that didnt show on the player, but was there totally covered some shots. I took it down to my mates because it was so bad to try out on his system and was the same
I was looking forward to this game, but after an hour of playing uninstalled it and went back to Wsc 2003.

Well done Blade Interactive, youve tollaly screwed up a good game!!

Actually best snooker game i have played, we are made better at fifa when we play it, so why not at snooker, it feels really good to get a century brake and to be playing snooker against the greats. Lacks in tournament longativity but only needs improving with next generation WSC games. Great game, enjoy. 8/10

Great game, really enjoyable to play. I don't understand the comparisons to playing 'real snooker', surely by definition it's obvious you aren't actually playing snooker. It's a game, it's obvious to me that if I played Ronnie O Sullivan at this game, I'd have every chance of beating him, if I played him at real snooker, I'd have no chance of beating him, however, your skills at actually playing snooker would benefit you when playing this game on the pc, shot selection, playing 'side', 'top','bottom', safety game, knowing angles of breaking the pack up, lots more, like I say, depending on your actual 'real skill' level.

Very nice graphics but lacking playability

I own WSC2004 and 2005 and This. I have to say that the graphics are very nice in the 2009 version, especially the table. Once you get used to the fiddly controls they aren't too bad either. There is no option to customise controls like in most games which annoyed me. The way the character walks around while the game is loading annoys me as well, but at least they got rid of that horrible menu noise when you clicked on things from 2004+5!. The positional play in this game is also very handy, you can just jump in and play which makes it accessable to many.
