Lego Batman: The Video Game

An excellent game that gave me many happy hours of lego fun. Let me start by saying that with any of the lego games for the PC should be played with a controller. the keyboard is simply not right for these games. There is a right tool for every job and a gamepad is the tool for this one. I just replaced my worn out Logitech chillstream with a proper Microsoft 360 windows controller for under 20 quid. Thanks PLAY!! So a good gamepad in no longer a expensive option. I have played this game on several pcs and never had any issues with bugs so buy with confidence.

This is a great game apart from the fact that it suffers from similar bugs that Lego Indiana Jones did. You STILL can't jump in a diagonal direction when using the keyboard! Try holding down two different direction buttons to run diagonally then pressing jump results in your character running straight off the platform which is incredibly frustrating. The control system is poor in other ways too with ladders incredibly difficult to grab on to and platforms seemingly out of reach.

The game also freezes from time to time and one of the bonus levels won't run properly.

Apart from these problems the game is good fun although it is exactly the same as previous games in the series.
