Four or five years ago this was one of the winners of the competition "Make Something Unreal", a modding competition for the Unreal engine. At the time it seemed promising and had some truly original ideas. An excellent production for a bunch of amateurs. The problem is that it hasn't moved on much in all this time.
What we have now is third person shooter that somehow makes the Unreal 3 engine look ugly. A generic linear shooter with a bad script that is badly acted, interlaced with sudo-platform sections with very strange climbing animations. But now they want us to pay for it. I did because I thought that the team that came up with the original would produce something worthwhile, I was wrong.
I bought this game with some trepidation, particularly after reading the previous reviews. My wife and I have played it though, in co-op, and loved it! If you are tired of boring shoot-'em-ups, with linear blastaway levels, then this is for you.
The levels are vast areas where you have to navigate from one side to the other, using various acrobatics and other high-altitude stunts (not good for those with vertigo!). This is interspersed with gun battles with often remote enemies, requiring you to work your way nearer before blasting away (unless you are using the ammo-scarce sniper rifle).
This was a real blast. Loved the game!
Hey, I think people need to give this game a bit of slack. You're all just com;laining for the sake of complaining. Yeah it could be brushed up a bit more, but where are you coming from when you say the graphic are awful, and gameplay sucks.
No, the graphics are just fine, I have seen much worse that's for sure, and gameplay is alright, yeah there isn't much, but it does what it said it would do.
Normally, I play through a good couple of hours so to get a feel of a game but this felt like a sweaty pair of pants on a summers day, not good. Graphics are awful, game play limited and a cheesy script tops it off. I had high hopes for this game but this is just not worth the time or the money.
Avoid!
I fired up this game not having high hopes, pretty glad I didn't have high hopes because this game is truely awful, from the aiming system to the graphics. I played it for about 10 minutes & I can tell you... that was 10 minutes too long, nothing they havent done in other games already and done a lot better at that. Avoid this game at all costs. If you don't believe me, Try the demo for yourself and you'll see what Im talking about. Trust me, save your money and spend it on something worth the price.
