  Brilliant game but...

I got this game and couldn't stop playing it. I used to have sims 1 and this is so much different! You can create a person in great detail, and customize everything! Also you can walk or go jogging anywhere in the neighbourhood, without a loading screen, you just move the screen and click on the place you want to go.

The only thing about this game is you have to have either a very new computer or one with a big memory. Otherwise, the game will just freeze 5 minutes into playing it. Other than that, great game!

  One of the Greats, However

If your'e unlucky in the spec sector buying this can be very tedious as it will be very slow and glitchy.. however for what its worth. If you had a great PC with all the specs Im sure itd be amazing graphics wise. and the gameplay is very detailed and more relaistic than previous games however it takes a while to get sued to the opennes and the fact your sim is not restricted to one house. There is more going on in this games.

But it can be confusing but once you got the hang on it.. You will be playing for hours!

In reply to kayleigh2121's post, the Sims 3 game and expansions run on windows 7 perfectly. Got game and laptop for xmas, and everything runs great, with no lag. Happy Gaming!

I had the sims 2, and when I heard about the sims 3, I decided to buy it! I thought the process of making a sims 3 character was a huge improvement from the sims 2! As soon as I started to play the game, I saw the massive difference between the 2! I thought, after 10 minutes, it had been a waste of money - but with more play it became so much better! You don't have to wait long minutes to go to a different place, and you can customize the outfits better! I hope EA soon introduces pets to sims 3, because that would make this game the best of all! I recommend you buy this game, I enjoyed it very much!

This game is so fun, you can create almost anything and share them on the web, you can create basements and you can walk across the road or to the otherside of the town to meet other sims.
Ive had this since june-ish and i keep going back to it. Other than the irritating loss of cool items from the sims 2-like two-story windows, there are some new and cooler items to customize your house, or your sim.
The fact that you can download user-made buildings off the sims website tops it off for me. Also, at the time of writing this, a beta/demo for a world builder is out for sims 3 owners for free, where you can create your own personal societies. You can share them too!

This game is ace, get it.
