Prince Of Persia PC

Im a huge fan of the prince of persia games and when i heard that this one was in the making i was overjoyed, when i found out it would be cellshaded with a whole new story and prince it made it even better! Some people have complained to me about how its rubbish because its a different prince and story, but they have not even played it so i cant see how they say its not good. My opinion is, if it was still the old prince it would be rubbish, they would have pushed it too far with a crap storyline but this is brilliant. Love the gameplay, Love the art.

The new main characters are the Prince and Elika, Elika has magic powers, so for instance, if the prince couldnt make a jump and would normally die, Elika pulls you back to where you jumped from. Or if you call for Elikas help she will port by your side and throw you a few extra meters. The prince is more acrobatic in this game, so he climbs faster, shuffles on ledges faster and can even defy gravity in some respects.

This game is awesome and its a good port to the pc, functions great for me, not had any bugs or problems at all so far.

As to chainchomp on the first post complaining about bugs and glitches for me iv had no problems what so ever, maybe he has bad reaction times, bad pc or a dodgy graphics card because its been fine to me.

Full of bugs and glitches that prevent you from progressing through the game. Needs some patching, then maybe it will be worh buying.
I should have bought the console version...

Amazing game. Truly immersive atmosphere, and a great art style. Complete proof that consoles aren't taking over! Oddly need to run on AAx8 for it to run properly. Would definately recommend.

It's a joy to play, I like it more then its predecessors.

Started playing this game earlier today and didnt quite no what to expect as ive never really played the ''pop'' franchise but this game has got me so hooked. I have played a fair few games in my time but its been a long time since i played a platformer which offered me something which seemed so fresh and so new.

first i wanna say that the new ''combo'' fighting and climbing aspect is GENIUS!! it seems to give you so much depth when fighting and the combo sequences themselves are awesome to watch when you pull them off. Also another major bonus from having the 2 characters at the same time is the fact you never die, if you miss a jump for example the sub char (Elika i think is her name) kinda like floats down and saves you and it imediately places you on the ledge you missed your jump from... you have no idea how much of a blessing it can be when u mistime a jump or press the button by accident lol, great addition.

This is a definate purchase for any gamer who enjoys platform games, its like a cross btwn tomb raider and a hack and slash (at times) Please do yourself a favour and purchase this :)
