Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.
Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.

On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.

 brilliant game

At the time that I write this the game is going for a mere 15 quid. That is a steal for something as immense as this, granted the engine is based on the original gta 3 but what the guys at rockstar north have done with it is nothing but incredible. You have a huge landscape to go through with NO LOAD TIMES!!! That is nothing short of genius.

As usual the radio stations a filled with great music and funny dj's (lazlow is still there) and there is so much to do in it that by the time you finish this game gta 4 will be reduced cause gta 5 will be out :P

 Nothing bad to say

I have GTA IV and yes i think that the series has come a long way from the top-down sim from the start.

Between this game and the new GTA IV i feel that this older game has a lot more playability intact, GTA IV wows you with stunning HD graphics and better ragdoll physics and car handling but San Andreas has so much to do away from the normal missions.

Lets see, we have the turf wars that break out after you claim gang turf, gym workouts to alter appearance, tattoos, hair cuts, taxi missions and alike, house robbery and not forgetting the ability to dance in time to music to impress at the clubs. Other things like flying planes and the general size of the world in GTA SA feels so much bigger.

Im not saying GTA IV is better or worse, it is a great game that i enjoy but im so disappointed at Rockstar for removing so many of the classic features that made San Andreas a big hit!

After Vice City, you know that this has got to be a roaring success. The GTA theme is incredibly addictive, if your a regular Vice City player, and are considering this one, nothing should stop you, you'll never look back.

When vice city was released following GTA3, the popularity of the game was through the roof, and the same effect when San Andreas was brought out.

Theres nothing you can say to slag this game off, great fun all round. Anticipate the next release!!!

Gameplay - 10/10
Graphics - 9/10

GTA: SA for the PC offers excellent graphics, superb mods and a great storyline. It has received some excellent comments from many different gaming companies across the globe and is probably 'the' best GTA game there is so far. The best console by far to get GTA: SA is the PC, because you can have some really cool mods for the game, which allow you to mess about with the graphics, change or edit new vehicles, maps, etc... a great buy!! Recommend it to everyone who likes fun! :)
