Dark Void is a new sci-fi action-adventure game that combines an adrenaline-fuelled blend of aerial and on-foot combat set in a parallel universe called "The Void." Players will take on the role of Will; a pilot dropped into incredible circumstances. While on a routine air cargo flight his plane crashes in the Bermuda triangle leading him to be trapped in the Void. This unlikely hero soon finds himself swept into a desperate struggle for survival at the head of a group called The Survivors. Caught in the Void, these resistance fighters are battling to hold off a mysterious alien race that plans to threaten Earth.
- Sci-fi action-adventure combines aerial and on-foot combat for unparallel 3D third-person shooter experience
- Gravity-defying vertical combat system where moving up is the only way to bring your enemies down
- Unique grip system that allows the players to scale walls jumping from surface to surface or hijack UFO's while in mid-air
- Explosive hover and rocket pack and special in-air moves allow players to fly with reckless abandon while performing hair-raising stunts
- Mysterious thought-provoking storyline based on conspiracy theory and strange phenomenon
- Main character, Will, is a regular pilot turned unlikely superhero in a wild ride to save humanity
- The Void - a mind-bending parallel world where an evil alien race called, "The Watchers," are waiting...

This is the first game to actually push my system.
The graphics are superb and its using NVIDIA PhysX engines which really show off the lighting and shading of this game. The game is an FPS with a twist that being you also have an aerial combat perspective with the ability of hijacking the Watchers (bad guys) vehicles and close ground combat as well. If I was to compare this game to another I would say Tomb Raider with a hint of steroids. The down side to this product is the script; its predictable and lacks depth though you do get to rescue a dame every now and then. Also the AI isnt the best but if you increase the difficulty that accounts for it as you dont get time to observer what the Watchers are doing. Overall not a bad release from CAPCOM. It could of been better but still an alright title. Im not quite sure what game monkeyboyxbox was playing but I am certainly enjoying Dark Void.
well from start of the game u cant tell its badly made very poor graphics for a modern game bad control system and terrible sound and voice acting. the idea is great such a shame its so badly made.
Don't be fooled by the low price and a few bad ratings, this game is a great one the story is good very interesting, game play is fast and fun and just overall great flying up high in the air then cutting the power or your rocket pack then free falling and kicking it in again, just fun fun fun! The only downside (TINY ONE) is that at first the flying can be a bit tricky with the mouse, but once you've shot down some alien ships you get the hang of it. Great game highly recommend 2.99 cant go wrong!
I read a lot of bad reviews for this game, but i cant understand why ? apart from the jetpack being a little hard to control ive had a lot of fun playing it.
The game is overall good, but its distinctive part is the aerial combat and exploration, with many levels (or parts of them) developing vertically as well. You can also rise up and shoot enemies behind cover during close ground combats, and that's a nice change (be careful though, because you become totally exposed to their fire, too).
The controls are a bit clumsy until you get used to them, but they are fine. The rest is quite simple, and it's fun to play, nice to look and, all in all, entertaining. Some spots in the story are really interesting, too.
