Crysis: Warhead

I have only just begun this game and so far its great. But before I write an indepth review, I just want to get one thing straight. In light of all the complaints from fans, Crysis Warhead IS NOT LIMITED TO 5 ACTIVATIONS.

It is still limited to 5 PCs, however EA have released an official De-Authorization tool which allows you to remove a PC from an Authorization slot, if for example you update your PC. It can be got from EA officially, to find it:

Now hopefully we can review the game and not the DRM system :)

Dont be put off by that review, this game does fully utilize quad core technology just like the first crysis, it is actually one of the few games that does, so if you have a quad core cpu (like me) dont think this game wont benefit from it because it will.

Best game ever despite the DRM issue I can't fault this game at all! The game graphics is terrific even on the minimum detail, which is the lowest. The exploision and waterfall is just so realistic that it sticks to your eyes. Gameplay is extremely exciting constant action going on. I play this game on a Quad Core Q6600 and an 8600GT and the performance is very good I get 90% of the details on enthusiastic with an FPS performance of 15-20 on 1024x768 resolution.
The online multiplayer (Crysis Wars) is great you can play and join various rooms and get straight into the action you can drive a vehicle as well as shoot and kill other online players. The online multiplayer infact is better than Call of Duty 4. It has this beautiful nature that always cuts your depression. You can never feel depressed playing this game its such a mind blower. Its like entering a paradize. The sound effects are top notch. So far I am addicted to this game never found another game that addictive like Crysis Warhead!

crysis warhead is an excellent continuation from the original crysis game. graphics and gamplay are brilliant. you just need a decent pc to run it.

I played the first crysis and loved it so much that I felt the need to get this one too. Overall It is very similiar to the first crysis, but in this one your fighting through the eyes of good old sykes.

Pros:

1. Great visuals and sound effects
2. Gameplay is exactly the same as Crysis
3. some new weapons and vehicles
4. Fits in nicely with the first story
5. you don't need the original crysis to play this
6. The price is just about right

Cons:

1. Firstly In order to play this game you will definately need an Internet connection because you have to activate the game via the internet something to do with the secure rom (though once activated online you dont need to be online to play It)

2. You can only Install It a maximum of 5 times I believe before you are locked out of the game for ever! This can be done on any 5 computers

3.. The game is very very short in my opinion and I wish It could've been slightly longer

Overall the gameplay and action is as good as it gets. A must buy for all Crysis fans out there, I would Highly recommend this game to anyone who loves the fps. If it wasn't for the secure digital rom activation and a short story I would have most definately given this game 5 stars.
