Guild Wars is nothing great. Sure it's a good game, and most fans of the genre will enjoy it. Create a character, train them up blah blah blah you know the score for RPGS.
Guild Wars is awesome to start with, but then it loses it's shine and it becomes repetative and boring.
Still, it's worthy of 4 stars because it's a good intro to MMORPG games, it can run well on most computers, no online fees.
I'd recommend it, but don't go in expecting a massive RPG, because you'll be let down.
Great first mmorpg to buy

I think this game is the best mmorpg to start with as it's free, insteresting story lines, hardly any grinding, plents of places to explore/farm and plenty of addiotnal features to get. If u get into this game it has a lifespan of about 700-800 hours of gameplay. The one major bad point about this game is the highets level u can reach is only 20 which means it limits how good the armour is compared to say lv15 and how good the weapons are say compared to lv15. On a good note there is a lot of teamwork involved and the community is very large and towns with in the game are always active. This game is aweosme when u first get it but after a lot of hous of gameplay staying at level 20 does get boring but it's a good price. The graphics on this game mmorpg are the smoothest and probably the best i've seen from an mmorpg. Also this original game in my opinion is better than any of the expansions for the game.
One word...WOW!!!

A great game with huge maps, varied professions and amazing graphics. I would recommend a fast internet connection to gain the full experience from this game. At £15 you cannot go wrong, if you haven't already bought it, you are missing out on an awesome gaming experience.
great game

What GW has over other games:
- No subscription fee's.
- No specific servers, so you can meet plenty of people.
- No Downtime.
- Not much grinding, grind, then explore explore explore. None of the grind grind grind grind grind; bored of the game once youve hit max level.
One of the things that suprises me still now is the amount of people in the game. In other games, certain area's will be totally devoid of players, even at peak times. But guild wars area's will always have lots of people in them(Except for when everyone is asleep, obviously). Simply because there isnt 5 different European servers, just one.
The biggest thing about guild wars is the subscription fee's; there is none. I stopped playing Star Wars Galaxies, not because i didnt like the game, i just wasnt prepared to pay £10 a month for something that wasnt very good anymore. Whereas with Guild Wars, if its going through a bad patch its comforting knowing that you arent paying for something that isnt working quite right at that certain space in time.
I will always go back to Guild Wars if i find a new game i like; ive been playing World of Warcraft quite a bit, but i always to back to playing Guild Wars until i feel like playing WoW again. Because i know it will always be there and i wont have to keep giving ArenaNET money to play their great game.

I love this game.
its the 1st campaign in a set or 3 and 1 expansion pack.
The game updates regularly and has special events throughout the year which involve new quests to do and titles to complete.
There are many quests to complete and titles to gain items to unlock.
So the max level of your character can only level 20 but you still have lots of things to do wen you reach it as you can take your character into the other campaigns if you have them on the same account to complete the other campaigns.
I have been playing for a year now and im still not bored of this game i love it and would recommend to any1
Meh...

Usually enjoy MMORPG's but theres so little to do at the highest level. Graphics are better but compares nothing with World of Warcraft TBH

Got this game couple of days after it came out. Absolutly amazing. Recommend to anyone. Takes out all the bad stuff from your average MMORPG and adds a unique stream downloading and map instances. It takes a while to get used to everything as there is alot.
Amazing MMORPG

I got this game about 2 years ago, then i got all the expansions, this game just keeps getting better and better. ArenaNet keeps updating Guild Wars which makes the game more fun, plus all the festival activities makes it all fun. I would highly recommend this game to massive and epic MMORPG fans.
