Truly amazing, the mines are huge on a massive scale and the detail that has gone into the design is superb, the legendary weapon system works really well and gives you a real sense of item ownership plus the cap being raised to lvl 60 and the fact that there are now thousands of new quest and traits and skills to earn make this game a must have for any gamer and puts just about anything else out there in the showdows

Mines of moria is just that. Amazing, wonderful, not many bugs and christ done well. I urge anyone to try this expansion out. The new legendary items makes no one weapon the same!!!!! Nope its unique and so many choices and possibilities. Even more customization too of your player and so much more. Graphics are amazing too!

Im sure i speak for the majority of LOTRO fans when i say i was looking forward to the Mines of Moria expansion. So far it has been a breath of fresh air.
New Legendary Weapons that level up when you kill mobs is a great idea that with the trait system already in place means that grinding has a purpose, it doesnt actually feel like grinding, ur basically levelling with purpose.
The story line once again gets you gripped as you carry on from previous quests and into Moria, Before you can enter Moria itself you have to get a legendary weapon to help fend off the Watcher who as in the Movie is outside the mines waiting to strike.
Moria is absolutely massive and im sure there will be tons of getting lost and aggroing things you shouldnt as some parts of it is very closed in and you cannot see what is infront of you but im loving it, a job well done
All in all a fanstically graphical game with good group interaction and a step above the original game
Lets have more of the same for future expansions

Well this game is my best buy this year, this really does put wow to shame.
Inside the mines is a vast area with lots a quests and monsters to see and fight (or run).The lengendry system is fantastic and works really well, and the new trait systen also works very well.Also the lvl cap to lvl 60 gives a lot more to do.If this game was not big enough already along comes 2 brand new huge lands with loads of areas inside .If your in 2 minds to what to go for, this will not let you down plus it also has the greatest story ever told and your part of that story but you would have to see it to belive it, the mines are fantastic, well done to turbine they have a winner here.

This excellent Data Disc adds a number of new areas and features to your THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE game. The character level cap has been raised to level 60, new Goat mounts are available, there are a number of new skills and traits available for each character class, Legendary Items (which develop and gain experience with the player) have been added, and the massive Mines of Moria has opened up for play. This multi-level dungeon is one of the highlights of the book and Peter Jacksons films, and has been faithfully recreated for this data disc from the original source novels.

The Fellowship of the Ring has already passed through the Mines, and the Dwarves are reclaiming Moria slowly and surely, but there are still plenty of Orcs, Goblins, Wargs, and other monsters lurking in the darkness for a player to battle. There is also a huge amount of new quests available, so you may find yourself exploring every area of the Mines before you come through to the other side.

The Legendary Items are useful too. They gain experience whenever a character does, and can also be improved with Runes which are fitted to enhance the item they are attached to. Such items can be tailored to your needs and individually named, and it is great fun levelling up your weaponry to do more damage to foes in future, or to enhance your own abilities whilst wielding such items.

This data disc is an incredibly worthy addition to your THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE account, and should be purchased promptly to open up this fabulous setting and ten extra character experience levels. With new skills and the ingenious Legendary Items included, this is a purchase you will be pleased to have made, and proves that THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE simply goes from strength to strength.
